too many times i've been to restaurants with great views but lousy food. however sunset pointe at fly creek have the location, sunset views and thefoodwas excellent. we ordered the grouper bights and crab-meat-balls to start. they were fantastic! the fresh pineapple salsa really complemented the flavor of the grilled swordfish. we were surprised with a complimentary bread pudding with blueberry compote for my friend's birthday. the staff were very friendly and attentive. i had a wonderful evening with one of my best friends!

ate there last night and it was awesome!!! the wine is a bit pricey but thefoodmore than makes up for it. we had the crab meat balls which were loaded with crab meat and i loved that each one came with a different sauce. the real star of the meal was the shrimp dish with the tomato broth....i could just drink the broth! i swear we asked if we could just order the broth with no shrimp (the shrimp were big, with good flavor) because the flavor was just so amazing!!!! i'll be back very soon just for that dish!

i ate here on my way to point clear for a work conference.  the reviews sounded enticing and the opportunity to see a beautiful sunset was a bonus.  my dining companion and i were seated outside on the patio which was cool due to fans and misters.  we ordered a bottle of rose and the crab meat balls to start. the bottle of wine was brought out to the wrong table as well as the appetizer.  it appeared they had entered the wrong table number.  the appetizer came with three meat balls on a bed of three different kinds of sauce.  two of three sauces were way too salty.  so salty, in fact that they detracted from the flavor of the crab meat.  i ordered the sunset pointe salad with gulf shrimp and my companion ordered the mussels.  the mussels were huge and almost looked like they had been pumped full of hormones.  they were much too large for the dish.  the broth was lacking in flavor and the bread served in the side as the vessel for eating the mussels wasn't toasted making it very difficult to eat.  the salad was tasty but the shrimp on top didn't appear to be gulf shrimp.  they were small and appeared to have been previously frozen.  they were supposed to have been grilled but i think they were sautéed and were over salted and seasoned.  overall, the atmosphere was nice and the rose was good but thefoodwas mediocre.

this restaurant has an excellent location and nice casual atmosphere. also the waitress was very good and attentive.
thefoodwas soso. the menu described our sandwiches to be served on focaccia and it they were on ordinary buns. the grilled slaw? don't get it. i would go back for drinks and atmosphere but notfood3

thefoodwe had was excellent. the menu however is limited. i will definitely come back for one more item on the menu, but the menu needs more variety to succeed. otherwise, just a real nice flash in the pan.

awesome! great food/atmosphere/service. thefoodwas incredible. i had the snapper throats with sautéed kale and couscous. they key lime pie was a nice treat as well as watching the dolphins swim in the marina fireside. perfect night! i'll definitely be back.

i was impressed by the creativity of this place - would definitely bring out of town visitors here. a pod of dolphins was playing right by our table - loved the experience of dining outside.foodis beyond excellent and atmosphere is relaxed though it manages to also be a "nice" restaurant. i took children who were entertained by the fire pits and space to move, and who inhaled the shrimp and sweet potato chips. kids were happy, adults were very happy.

satisfyingly great in many ways !. ever since we moved here 5 years ago i've been looking for a bouillebaise in this seafood rich area to no avail. well, to my delight i found it. if there's tuna on a menu my wife usually orders it and wow, the sesame tuna is the best by far around. the seafood wraps are actually a wonderful seafood medley on lettuce leaf that left me and my wife speechless at the first bite. the service was amazing as 5 individuals stopped by our table from the gen'l mgr and maitre d', to thefoodserver. and the location...when we left the restaurant i had the feeling that i was away on vacation and just had the best meal ! this new restaurant owned by panini pete is a great addition to the mobile/eastern shore area. even before it opened the rumor mill was abuzz and it lives up to the anticipation.
