sunset grill & bar

it used to be a good fine dining place in istanbul. very beautiful bosphorus view, good food and good service were their key things. but last time i went, the service was very poor, not enough waiters, food takes long time, was not pleasant at all.

sunset guya istanbul’un en guzel ve kaliteli restoranlarindan biridir ancak son gittigimizde servis cok cok kotuydu. bi yemek icin yarim saat bekliyorsunuz bir de siparis vs. vermek icin garson yakalayabilirseniz sanslisiniz. acikcasi bu kalibrede, bu fiyat skalasinda bir yerde boyle seyler olmamali. gayet kotu bir deneyimdi.

the view is very nice and the food is good ,but mostly it is more like a bar than a restaurant so it is not good choice for families you feel unsecured there because there are too much drunk people

ailemle de arkadaslarimla da yemek yemekten en çok zevk aldigim mekanlardan biri. özellikle susiye doyum olmuyor. restoranin yöneticisi gazi bey de özellikle çok samimi ve her daim çok ilgili. kalitesinden ödün vermeyen bir mekan, yazin bari da çok keyifli:)

hic bir zaman cok bayildigim bir yer olmadi. sushileri kesinlikle overrated. yemekleri ise yalnizca vasatin ustunde. yurdum godomanini agirlar durur yillar yili. manzarasina ve hizmet kalitesine diyecegim yok. yemek sonrasi eve donmek istemiyorsaniz baska yere gecmeye de useniyorsaniz bari da oldukca keyifli.

yemekleri zaten cok basarili olan sunset'te ben ozellikle sushileri de denemenizi oneririm. crunchy shrimp roll benim favorim! ayrica simdi ismini hatirlayamadigim ama pirincsiz olan bir roll yedik, icinde somon avokado ve nori vardi. o da mukemmeldi:)

güzel romantik bir mekan ama bu mekandan daha iyi olup daha iyi lezzetler varken fiyatlar soruymuş biraz düşürün ya tamam ad yapmışsın ama senden daha namlı olanlar var bence ...

13 eylül aksami dört kisi yemege gittik . ortam çok hostu. yemeklerimiz gelene kadar hersey iyiydi. arkadasimin yemeginden canli bir tirtil çikti. müessese bu durumu çok normal karsiladi. hijyen sifir bilginize.. yesillikler hiç yikanmamisti... bu ilgi ve hijyene bu fiyatlar sasirtici ; degmez...

bu kadar sik ve 1. sinif bir restoran gibi görünüp, bu kadar amatörce ve kötü isletilen bir restoran daha görmedim. sushilerin iki tanesinin kesik ve daginik olmasini geçiyorum. ilk sarap kadehimin içinden sinek çikmasi nedeniyle geri gönderildi. ikincisinde degistirildigi iddia edilen kadehin içinden yine ayni sekilde sinek çikti. ve bunlari affetirmek adina degil hesaptan sarabi çikarmak, killarini bile kipirdatmadilar. üstüne üstlük restorana attigim maile, halkla iliskiler müdürü olan ama bence baska bir is yapsa muhtemelen çok daha basarili olacak olan zeynep hanim, cevap olarak hesap numarami söylersem sarabin parasini geri verebileceklerini belirtmis. küfretse daha iyiyimis. özürleri kabahatlerinden büyük, bir daha ne ben ne de çevremde herhangi bir kisinin kesinlikle gidip bu rezaleti yasamalarini istemem

hmmmmm ok let's see .. their duck pancakes were pretty good but mostly only on the crispy duck pieces.. the service was horrible .. we asked for a window table the day before at 9 and were told we were booked then when we called on the day and said to make the reservation 9 30 we were told they can't promise the window unless we come by 9 which we hurriedly did yet we weren't given the table and in fact were given a table all the way at the back!!

we complained the hostess was extremely rude something i've never experienced before in such restaurants.. the waiters were quite rude too and kept sighing and saying we never said that etc basically calling us a liar.. i brought my 3 year old which no one told me wasn't allowed but atleast they let her come since we're tourists!

i wanted to leave but didn't because i was starving as it was 9 45 by the time they stopped arguing with us..

the risotto was pretty good.. the seabass was very plain and normal.. the yogurt kabob was really good and the artichoke salad was good too

also the table next to the window was empty and they lied to us and said they're at the bar and will come back but no one was at the bar and no one ever came till we left either so that was messed up..

the manager at the end was sweet tho and tried to fix it but it was too late.. not only were we treated badly and paid a lot for the food we weren't even given a free dessert or anything for the experience.. so i give the food 7/10 view 10/10 however i preferred ulus29 and the service .5/10

i̇lgi alaka mukemmeldi. çok özel bir gece icin burayi secmistim. secimimin mukemmel oldugunu gecenin sonuna kadar hissettirdiniz bana. tesekkur ederim.

we made a reservation two weeks in advance for saturday to sit on the terrace, only to find out that we will be seated inside. so we moved the reservation to sunday for a table on the terrace. when we arrived at 6, the restaurant was practically empty and our table was the farthest from the window. we tried to change it with no success. even when we left, none of the tables by the window were taken. the food was average. the shrimp linguini had no shrimp and was so bland. the waiters were not so friendly. all in all, it was not a good experience although the view is breathtaking from the tables by the window.

dogum gunu yemegi icin gitmiştik menusu degişmiş evet ama cok farklı tatlar eklenmemiş.karsılama, ilgi,guleryuz her zaman cok guzel.soylenildigine gore düsüslerde değil hala bildigimiz kaliteli sunset.kalabalık bir masa olmamızdan belki de bizimle gayet ilgiliydi personel.  yemek olarak fırınlanmış ördek,ızgara antrikot, ızgara bonfile tercih ettik.sunum ve lezzet olarak gayet basarılı.ama ızgara antirkotta peru sosu biraz daha az kullanmalarını tercih ederim bi süre sonra damak tadımı rahatsız ediyor o kadar :) onun dısında hersey cok guzel gayet mutlu ayrıldık.
umarım bu sekilde devam eder.

ulus parki içinde bogazi tepeden gören muhtesem atfosferi olan bir mekan; ilk giriste mekani bana göre üçe bölmüsler: bar kismi/ italyan mutfagi (açik hava)/ uzakdogu mutfagi.mekan genelde yabanci misafirler agirlikta; sarap menüsü çok zengin yalniz içecekseniz kadeh ya da 50 cl yok; sarap150 tl'den basliyor ve yukari dogru çikiyor.balik menü çok zengin hepside basarili ilk basta bellini içmenizi tavsiye ediyorlar küçük kadehte sunuluyor ve fiyati 60 tl salatalar ve ara sicaklar çok basarili; her seyi hiç korkmadan siparis edebilirsiniz; servis çok basarili ve hizli.mekanda yiyecek fiyatlari normal içki fiyatlari çok pahali; kisi basi içkide varsa 150 / 300 arasinda hesap ödersiniz.yemeklerin güzelligi; ortam ve manzara süper olunca hesap aklinizdan çikiyor:)

istanbul'un en sik lokantasi - sunset bir kere gidilmesi gereken bir mekan. yazin açikhavasi çok keyifli. birçok ünlüyü görebileceginiz haftnin 7 günü kalabalik bir mekan, rezervasyon sart. isletmecisi bogaziçi mezunu baris tansever. menü beklentimin altinda kaldi ne yazik ki, yedigim yemekler de lezzetliydi, ancak beni çok da sasirtmadi. buna ragmen fiyat oldukça yüksek. öte yandan sushi bar'i çok basarili.
