for that upscale feeling.... this is definitely one of the nicer places to eat breakfast with nice decor and clean bathrooms that offer complimentary mouthwash. my husband found their s'mores french toast to be a tasty delight but very sweet. it does not come with any sides so he ordered a side of bacon which we found to be a bit overpriced (just three regular to small pieces for $3.50). i would suggest you take into consideration that just because their sides are pricey, it does not mean they will make it up in quantity or size.
the shrimp andgritswas both our favorite dish. you may have had shrimp andgritsbut definitely not this one. thegritsare warm and earthy, the shrimp perfectly cooked and everything is tied together with a tangy yet not overbearing bbq sauce, sauteed peppers, fried okra and a texturally pleasing mixture of chorizo sausage finished with a cheesy note. what a great way to start the morning.
