steak 'n shake

good food, but disappointing compared to other steak n shakes. we have been to the steak n shake in austin and enjoyed a variety of menu items. the one in san antonio, however, has a very limited menu. basically just burgers, fries, and shakes. no chicken, salads, soup/chili, or breakfast items at all. also, there is no table service, you have to go to thecounterto order and pick up your food. the burgers we had were good especially for the price.

steak 'n shake signature takes on mcdonalds's. after living in the midwest for 11 years, i fully enjoyed steak 'n shake. i was excited when i learned that steak 'n shake signature was coming to san antonio. i was so disappointment the moment i walked in the door.

first, steak 'n shake signature is acounterservice business, not a classic steak 'n shake dinner. my family was greeted with a long line and loud music. the music was so loud there was an order entry error with my steakburger.

second, the menu is very limited compared to the classic steak 'n shake dinner. the actual food was just okay.

third, with thiscounterservice business model it appears that steak 'n shake signature is directly competing with mcdonald's. in conclusion, if i want a good burger i will go to whataburger and if ii want a good shake i will go to sonic.
