steak'nshake signature takes on mcdonalds's. after living in the midwest for 11 years, i fully enjoyed steak'nshake. i was excited when i learned that steak'nshake signature was coming to san antonio. i was so disappointment the moment i walked in the door.
first, steak'nshake signature is a counter service business, not a classic steak'nshake dinner. my family was greeted with a long line and loud music. the music was so loud there was an order entry error with my steakburger.
second, the menu is very limited compared to the classic steak'nshake dinner. the actual food was just okay.
third, with this counter service business model it appears that steak'nshake signature is directly competing with mcdonald's. in conclusion, if i want a good burger i will go to whataburger and if ii want a good shake i will go to sonic.
