man, the staff!. i just wanted some meringue cookies for my sister, who is ill and asked for same (not from star provisions specifically, but little did i know that no other bakery offers them this time of year). after being asked to wait while the bakery clerk checked, i was asked if i could wait again while she checked downstairs, where, i guess, telephone lines have yet to reach. yes, i was told, they would be ready in an hour. great. the clerk suggested i have some put on hold to be safe. fine. but then she needs a visa number to hold them. am i renting a hotel room for the night or buying some bloody cookies? only for my sister would i put up with this. i am going to go in with my hair in fright mode and in my grungiest clothes to see if that helps with the service, anticipating that it will not. all of this for a bakery - i just so love effete places.

great lunch. went here today and had the shrimp po boy and black eyed pea salad. both were delicious. smores cupcake for dessert was divine. some of the best bread i've ever had on a sandwich. staff was fine to me. only complaint is the tea system. snobby restaurants seem to think only backwoods inbred rednecks drink sweet tea. not the case. if i'm paying $15 for lunch i should not have to mix my own tea.

delicious soup & sandwich

we wanted something good but simple. star provisions filled the need perfectly.

we had the fabulous shrimp po-boy. the shrimp were wonderfully fresh and the breading was light and crispy. the banh-mi was also very good but could have used a vinagery daikon to brighten it up a bit. we shared a large tomato bisque which was wonderful, after we added a bit of salt and pepper. also, as with most bisques it was served less hot than it should have been. warming the heavy ceramic bowl would have helped. the staff kindly microwaved the bottom half of our soup.

the staff were all welcoming and helpful.

i would definitely return for the shrimp po-boy and the tomato bisque.

star provisions is a cute area, although it's kind of touristy. there are multiple good restaurants and shops to explore. the coffee shop is great and makes an excellent cappuccino.

this is a fine specialties shop. the finest of them. it’s fit for chefs like me who need the finest of fine ingredients to appeal to demanding clients and foodies that cook. you demand the same quality. this is the place procure sometimes difficult to find meats, seasonings, cheeses and fish that isn’t for sale in whole foods.  inside the marketplace, yes it is a bit cluttered like a very expensive garage sale,  you will find more than just wares for your dining table and bar.   a proper cheese shop with a proper cheese monger.  beautiful big wheels of dairy cut and sold by weight. a proper butcher where you can get fine fish, kobe beef and venison. proper cured meats hanging in a climate controlled room. bulk containers of what seems like a dozen types of salt to enhance or inspire the raw materials.  dancing goats coffee outpost to enjoy a cup while you browse or buy in bulk to make at home. once you’re done buying your goods head over to the café. fancy a sandwich? salad? pot pie? you got it. communal dining or take out and of course as you’d expect, high prices.  dare i say it’s all worth it. i go out of my way to shop here.  posted july 23, 2012 author stephanie anderson cheesecake factory (buckhead) . a review. of course being buckhead you get bells and whistles the other metro locations do not have: valet parking and two floors. it's buckhead. of course a separate upstairs bar is necessary. in addition to the novel they call a food menu there is a substantial and tasty drink menu.  i do like the basics of straight bourbon and gin and tonic but here is a whole host of vacation inspiried drinks. rum and fruit heavy you can escape the city bustle in your mind if only for the 20 minutes it takes to down a mai tai or caribbeann cooler.  your resolve needs to weaken so you order from some place other than the skinnylicious menu and a cocktail is a good way to do it. glamburgers, signatures dishes and salads always put on a good showing. my tried and true at any loc

marvelous macaroons. without a doubt, best macaroons in atl. placed a large order recently for an event. not only were they the "star" attraction in taste, but each one was "tastefully" decorated in the theme of the event. made a great presentation. thank you, star provisions!

great lunch spot. had a tasty, quick lunch there last week. got the fried gulf shrimp po' boy, and it was delicious. nicely crispy and light shrimp, not greasy. we sat outside at one of the communal picnic tables, which was very pleasant. good food, fair price, quick service. will be back.

excellent quality!. the quality of the sandwiches are out of this world! i got a falafel pita and my boyfriend got a reuben and both were great! the quality of the ingredients is what makes otherwise normal sandwiches taste even better here! the inside shop is cute and the atmosphere is great. i loved the outdoor seating area and bridge across to more shops. definitely go and give this place a try. oh and the rosemary sea salt bread was very yummy!

...coffee sold at sp is batdorf & bronson, which makes sense as the b&b roastery is only about a mile down the road. they have always had a light roast and dark roast ready to serve and it has always been fresh. other espresso drinks are always on the table. i ordered a macchiato on my last visit and it was exquisite! the option to buy beans is also available, as well

we’ve been to star provisions on many occasions – to pick up cheese or bread or something else – even a perfect anniversary gift one year.  but we had never been there to eat – until today.  heading to a 2:00 gt basketball game, i wanted something different than one of our usual stops, so we headed to westside provision district and found a place in the incredibly crowded parking lot.  in addition to the wine, cheese, meat, seafood and gourmet foods for sale in the grocery, they also serve food from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm daily.
