st. moritz restaurant

we are human. and we are built carnivorous (basically we're omnivores but you get the idea). what really excites our thought process as meat eaters is going back to basics with fire and a good piece of meat. luzern steakhouse, as they are currently named right now, caters to that primal instinct. and they do it right. no wonder they've won best steakhouse in cebu.

the place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - tuck between a hotel and asilo de la milagrosa, at first glance the building looks old and worn down. but step inside the restaurant and you'll think your in an old hickory steakhouse. cozy enough for a family dinner private enough for a date. and yes they do dry clean the furniture.

the food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - if you're looking for that fine taste (especially their imported beef) of beef then go for their steaks. expensive for you? go for the porkchop or local beef. they still don't disappoint. if you go here order the steak. don't go there and just order a salad or something. just forget about it and go somewhere else. don't be a damn fool. i'd give them 5 stars but their banana split was very underwhelming and i really do mean it. don't order dessert.

theservice⭐️⭐️⭐️ - theservicewas average at best. they've got plenty of highs but as your lunch/dinnerservicegoes on they start to lose focus and just become complacent. 

the value ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - they are a perfect example of you get what you pay for. if you splurge on the imported cuts then you really won't be disappointed i guarantee you that. wanna impress a date? take her here (make sure she isn't a sweet-tooth cuz they're steak guys not dessert guys).

good food but bad service. the waitress rolled her eyes at us, not just once. slowserviceand rude in talking with us. not approachable and friendly

for the steak lovers out here in zomato!!! this is the place to be!

1. theservicewas good (got there around dinner time, we reserved a table a day before prior to going there)

✅ us rib eye (so soft, served with mash potato)
✅spaghetti with olive oil, chili, and garlic
✅ dessert: omelete surprise

they also had new drinks which were very refreshing. a must try!

overall, the place was pricey but worth every penny. i swear 🤤 would def come back here!

food is splendid.servicestill has room for improvement. place seems cozy; it's a very different atmosphere from the outside. be sure to make a reservation since walk-in guests dine at the garden area.

i ate there just a few hours ago and until now i am thinking, thank heavens for zomato!

it's the juiciest, tastiest pork steak i've had in cebu so far. at p400+, it's a bit more expensive than the other pork steaks (usually it's around 250-350) but it's definitely worth it. the portion is big, my friend took home half of it coz he couldn't finish. not me. i devoured everything! 😄 the place is perfect, the ambience cozy yet classy. it's halloween and they've put up pumpkins and spiders to celebrate. i love it! theserviceis great, they give you free bread and butter while waiting for your food. wifi is also strong. i'd definitely come back and try the rib-eye sometime.

i am deducting it a .5 because the road going to the place is bumpy and even though it's just approx. a 1-2 minute walk, i wouldn't dare go in the evening without a ride. why? because just a few meters from the resto/hotel we passed by a dark area where there were rowdy young punks in a huddle. i got a bit scared. but that's just me.

overall, i am a very satisfied customer and i highly recommend it. . 😊😊

overall experience in this restaurant was superb. the food tastes absolutely amazing. the steak was cooked as per our request. it was tender and juicy. cooked to perfection. ambiance andservicedeserves a 5 as well. definitely worth every penny! :)
