atmosphere and service are great. i am always happy with my meal. i have been here for a lunch a number of times now and i really appreciate the large menu selection. the food is consistently good. i just wish they stepped up the quality of their wine list.  there are many other great wines available at a reasonable cost that they could serve. i would spend a lot more time on their sunny patio if they brought in a new sauv blanc!

overall just an average dining experience. prices seemed high but the food was generally pretty good. our server was okay but the kitchen was very slow for a moderately busy thursday night. chicken club i had was good but my wife's $15 nachos were devoid of cheese. not a restaurant i would drive in from airdrie to visit again.

terrible experience, service was rude, horrible, and aggressive. they burnt my pizza, and mixed up our orders and blamed us. took an hour to get our food. gave us dirty plates. they over charged us for wings thinking we wouldn’t notice. gave us a dirty tomato can for holding pizza as well. ignored all eye contact. we brought up the price difference and did not respond. overall terrible experience. plus covid regulations were not up to par felt very unsafe.

came here on tuesday night with a girlfriend to catch up and it was taco tuesday $3.99 each. mix and match the tacos on the menu and order minimum of 2 tacos. i got the shrimp, chicken and fish one. the tacos were pretty big, i liked the shrimp and chicken ones and would fast on the fish next time. i also got a side of caesar salad and it it was fresh and portion was perfect. we had on the patio which was spacious and service was good. wk definitely come back again.

we ordered boneless chicken bites, kettle chip style nachos with pulled pork and onions and fries. we ordered avocado on the chips too but i think the kitchen forgot to put it on. i prefer kettle chips over tortilla chips any day. the potato chips make for a lighter dish and the delicate flavour of chips didn’t overpower the ingredients, so i could taste more of the toppings. this whole dish was only six bucks. four dollars for the kettle chips and a dollar for every additional topping.

save your money and go elsewhere. despite it being relatively empty our food took forever. i had the one live tacos with a california salad. tacos were tiny and if the lettuce from the salad was on my fridge at home i would have composted it.

overall experience was somewhere between "blah" and "ok". at 17:30 on a friday, it was surprisingly empty. server was disinterested and inattentive, and the food was too overpriced. we ordered nachos (hardly any toppings or cheese, with generic bottled salsa), and a maple burger with maple chips. dry, flavourless, tiny patty on the burger, but the maple barbecue sauce was nice (although it also seemed bottled). the maple chips sounded good on paper, but they had very little flavour and no salt at all. with places like wild rose and all the restaurants in marda loop nearby, i think this restaurant needs to step up their game. happy i tried something new, but my partner and i agree we won't return there.

stopped in today to grab some poutine for #poutineweekyyc #mealshareyyc
poutine was chicken and waffles poutine. was very tasty - big portion, you should probably share. also ordered coconut shrimp tacos - also good.
restaurant was unusually busy. had some parties going on, so had to sit at bar. had rae as server and she was awesome. from what i could see all staff seemed great.
had been there before and ordered thick crust pizza and was very good.
so far both times i've been there food has been excellent.
will go back.

i think this is the only restaurant in this city that does not have any rice on its menu. none! i try to eat vegetarian meals on certain days and i went on friday with my friend to have a lunch. i simple wanted some rice with grilled veggies , the waiter said that had no rice but rice noodles .i said ok. he comes back after few minutes and said " sorry but i was told by the kitchen i have been doing too much for the people !!!, we can't do what i told you will need to take something else" ...so little bit of grilled veggies plus some rice noodles are considered to be too much ?? i ended up taking spinach salad instead as didn't want to ruin my outing. the staff was kind but appeared to be rushed even thought the restaurant was only half full. will be staying away in the future.

i've been here 3 times and had mixed experiences. first time was just at the wood to have a beer and service was awful.
i'd heard so much good about the place that i decided to give it another chance.
round 2 was far better service and food excellent.
today, had lunch and food was good except the house dressing for the house side salad was not very palatable. too strong of cheap possibly knock-off basaltic.
i'll give it a 3.5 for now and another chance another day.

been here twice now, and i have to say the service was amazing both times, and the food even better. it totally exceeded my expectations. i'm a big fan of the one love tacos, the jerk chicken and mango salsa are a brilliant combo.

use to eat here all the time till the waitresses starting started telling me not to order certain items because they had become spoiled but management was insisting they sell till gone.

excellent family restaurant. love love love the shrimp tacos. our kids love the calamari appetizer and the sweet potato fries. kids eat free on sunday nights!

food was delicious and large portions, similar to their other location at 4th spot kitchen and bar. first time here during poutine week and the service was terrible. friendly servers but very slow and not attentive. we find the same type of service at the 4th spot location and didn't have high expectations on the service front. would return however because the food is good but would love to see service improve at both locations. the dining experience would be so much better if service was taken up a couple of notches...

i wanted to try the place a few times before reviewing it. i work and live in the area and quite enjoyed the food of the former local002, but would only get takeout because the service was terrible. spot on, although i find it more expensive, is definitely a step up. i have had good service on all occasions and every dish i've tried has been excellent. the only thing i haven't been a raging fan for is their pizza. i also know that they sponsored a community event within their first year or so in business and i think that's really cool.
