very nice!. a great little lunch place with a great view of the ocean. good breeze going through the upper level. a good start to the afternoon touring the area.

the only reason this place stays busy is the location. they have great servers but the menu is not great and i accidentally got a view of the kitchen.. horrible!

excellent food and service! kid friendly or adult. had crab cake eggs benedict. wonderful!

it is kind of generic seafood fried stuff but enjoyable. it is nothing to write home about but i would eat here again. nice views and good with kids. good eats good service good time:)

fish tacos. this place is so booty. i raged on the fish tacos and was like "whapap!" these are the two best fish tacos i've ever eaten. *get them w/ the avocado ...if the fish tacos weren't enough already, they offer waffle fries. best..place..ever.

2-x,s-= 0. we have eaten there twice, the first time mysister inlaw got sick. the second time we went there for their breakfast because we where told it was great:(...my wife ordered a waffel..."oh i am sorry our waffel maker has been broke for a week" and i ordered stuffed french toast, and got just regular french toast...never complain because its not safe, so we ate our 35.00 breakfast and left...kinda funny cause neither one of us got what we went there for

splashtastic!!!. this is my first urbanspoon review for my trip to hawaii, and i wanted to review the restaurants i went to by best to worst. this place was the best! i was staying across the street because the restaurant is right next to one of the only beaches in kona... hard to believe but it's true. had breakfast there four out of the five days i was in hawaii and let me tell you... these guys can cook! i'm talking breakfast burritos that could feed an army. and oh my god... i almost forgot, you got to get the crab cakes... divine! the service was great too and the owners are always walking around meeting people, so it's pretty friendly. oh and if you go for dinner... prime rib!!!! omg, soooo good!

we were in waikoloa for vacation & drove into kailua to sight see. a local recommended splashers to us for breakfast. we actually went there for lunch. it was a really good choice. i had the fish tacos & my bf had fish & chips. we found out after-the-fact, that they were known for their burgers. i would say that the restaurant was good, especially for that part of ali'i dr, but not the best in the area. def better than tantra down the street. the big island grill is on the street behind there. i've heard that it's a little bit more authentic. still not a bad choice, though. it's across from the water with open-air seating.

bad fish and calamri. the calamri was tender but tastless and the breading was cheap tasting. the fish was breaded the same way but was very dry and tasteless. not worth $18 for a small plate of fish and calamri. our waitress seemed distracted and overwhelmed. bad service. i'm a server at zion national park and this restaurant was not busy, i don't understand why it took her so long to take care of us.

...ortega volcano burger...served with pepperjack cheese, mildly-spicy ortega chiles and grilled onions were delivered with homemade beer-battered onion rings

smokers. this is a beautiful location right on alii drive. a spectacular view of the ocean. my family and i were driven out of this place because of all of the cigarette smoke. we didn't bother to take our food because it wasn't very nice. free coffee was the only plus for this one.

must go!!. best place in kona. i travel there for work, and have been to most of the restaurants. now i typically just eat there. stuffed french toast is amazing. or fish and eggs if you want healthier. fish tacos that aren't deep fried and and incredible salad dressings. great views as well.

had an awesome avocado swiss burger and maitai. the plate came with seasoned fries and could only eat have of it. good portions.
