it is amazing. so good. go with a group of people so you can try lots of different dishes. the cook book to is fantastic, i've never made anything that wasn't incredible from it. dinner is nice of course but going at lunch is my favorite. just needs a courtesy bus and it would be perfect!

delicious but a very rich banquet. we dined at spirit house for mother's day lunch and it was amazing. we were seated at a lovely table by the pond, very quiet and relaxing ambiance (compared to a lot of restaurants these days, you couldn't here the table next to you which was fantastic) our waiter was nice and had good menu knowledge. we ordered a banquet which is an excellent way to sample the menu. all dishes were full of flavour and delicious! there was a lot of food, too much to finish, however most of the dishes were quiet sweet and rich which got to be too much in the end. i would definitely return, however wouldn't get the banquet as it left us feeling far to full and sick from rich the coconut salmon soup, pork, duck, crispy fish and chocolate dessert. (these were just some of the dishes!) it would be better mixing it up more with other options on their menu, such as the grilled lamb ribs or a chicken dish. something more fresh and less rich. the tamarind fish however was a definite highlight and we would highly recommend this to anyone, some of the nicest fish we have had!

simply the best. we had a large work party at the spirit house for lunch yesterday and wow, it was simply amazing.

the food and service were both incredible. the coconut soup of salmon was an experience not to be missed. the pork belly was beyond description, just so juicy and tender and tasty. the desserts were out of this world too.

simon, our waiter, was attentive and well versed with the food and the appropriate wine selections for our dishes. he gets a 10/10 from me.

do yourself a favour and head to this amazing gem on the sunshine coast. you will not be disappointed.

again an amazing experience , as usual the flavours outstanding . the food is always so consistent . but what makes it that much more amazing is the beautiful surrounds and ambience and the incredibly attentive service . this would be one of our favourite restaurants ever .

beautiful, but a little short of amazing. i definitely liked it, but it was one of those times when high expectations can let you down - the experience was not so amazing as i hoped it would be. this restaurant is so beautiful - the night time walk through flickering torch lit bamboo is magical, the menu is very exciting, the decor spot on, the staff highly professional. we had the banquet menu, which covered a good variety of dishes - the coconut salmon soup was gorgeous, but i felt some of the dishes were not quite as special as they could have been.

amazing spot. the spirit houses seems miles away from anywhere. the tasting menu is the best option to try a variety of dishes. my favorite was the whole fish with chilli and tamarind. a must dine location

food and service were excellent, agree curry could have more kick. lovely fresh seafood, we can't wait to return at night as this pretty spot would look so enchanting at night i'm sure!

my husband and i dined here on a saturday night and ordered the classic banquet menu at $80 p/p. the first 4 entree courses were brought out to the table swiftly within half an hour. these were amazing.
unfortunately we waited about 1 hour and 10mins for our main courses, in this time the couple who were seated after us and ordered the exact same banquet menu received their mains before we did, (10-15mins before we did)
during this time we had asked what looked liked the restaurant manager (french guy) he said it would be 3-4 minutes wait, anyway this approximate time was exceeded with little care taken from the restaurant manager.
upon finishing our banquet we thought it was appropriate that we asked for our drink bill to be waived due to the extensive wait time for our mains. we were told that they do not waive drinks but they could offer us a tea or coffee. very very disappointing with the lack of care shown as i had been wanting to try this place for sometime. considering that our bill was just over $200 you would think they would try and keep their customers happy. it didn't surprise me though as the restaurant manager seemed very arrogant with little customer service.
as i said i couldn't fault the food however the above experience will stop me returning again.

was recommended this establishment by numerous people and we were not disappointed! if you are going then definitely book before hand- we didn’t but were there first thing and so lucky! this is the type of place where even if the dishes sound a bit strange and your not sure if your going to like it, they arrive and you tentatively take your first bite and it’s just unbelievably delicious!!
everything including service was just spot on and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the noosa area! however, i will note for those visiting it is a bit expensive and a small drive into the hinterland but for a treat, certainly worth it.

maybe not. wow in credible setting...but...the meals were average, the chicken was way over priced and way over cooked. the whiting was riddled with bones ending back on my plate, the desserts were nice...but over priced. the price was unreasonable for everything.! i was torn between beautiful sourrounding, great staff and an average meal. oh and the toilets needed to be cleaner.

set in beautiful gardens overlooking a dam, this thai inspired asian fusion restaurant starts your journey to a culinary wonderland the moment you enter their gardens. an explosion of flavour is the only way to describe each mouthful you take. delicately plated, you almost don't want to eat the food because it looks so beautiful. it is no surprise they have consistently won prestigious awards for their food from reputable organisations like gourmet traveller and the good food guide.

the best way to dine here is to share dishes. this is one shared dining experience you do not want to miss and they cater for vegetarian and gluten free. order the crunchy pork scratchings with satay dipping sauce while you ponder the rest of your meal. the waiting staff are excellent helping you choose and will also recommend wines to match your meal. it's difficult to write a review when you cannot fault a dish so it's easier to tell you what you must try. for starters, make sure to order the sour pork sausage terrine and wok seared scallops. you can't go past the darling downs rib eye steak and lemongrass and tumeric grilled chicken. both dishes are perfectly cooked, the meat moist and tender. the whole crispy fish with tamarind chilli sauce gives you a chilli hit, without it overpowering the dish. this is the ideal restaurant to visit with friends, especially those who feel thai food is too hot to eat. there is much to choose from and you will be thinking about your return on your way home.

a beautiful place with amazing food that is perfect for that special occasion. order the banquet and you won't be disappointed! definitely the best way to try multiple dishes. service was great, ambience was great and, most importantly, food was top notch. will definitely be back!

outstanding food. excellent service. and all set among sprawling gardens, pavilions and ponds. the pavilion layout affords privacy and space. a lot of thought and $ involved methinks

just a delight on a warm afternoon, escaping the cold of a melbourne winter..

shared lunch among 4 with standouts being the betel leaf and moreton bay bug with nahm jim and ginger; the hervey bay scallops in a delightful coconut sauce and the grilled kingfish. they were all light but massive taste bombs. main courses included maybe the best massaman curried lamb shank i’ve ever eaten. and an even better bbq prawns in a sour tamarind based sauce.

the price isn’t cheap but given the quality of the food and the delight of the gardens, i came away thinking we’d had a bargain.
