we had the $85 banquet and i thought the food was very flavorful with careful use of herbs. agree with many of the reviews online about their coconut salmon soup- it doesn’t look like much but sure tastes amazing. we were seated by the lake and were visited by a water dragon and tortoise. the only criticism i have is that it was quite hard to fully enjoy all the great food while you were swarmed by flies and flying insects- also after your food and drink!

beautiful place stunning food, we had the vegan set menu with equally delicious cocktails & wine, service was very relaxed considering, but would definitely return. well worth the wait to get in.

came here 20 mins early to check out the bar. felt like in a different world in this restaurant compound. tropical forest feeling and the bar and buildings and deco was top notch.
had some cocktails - popcorn brandy alexander which was delicious and reminded me of chocolatini.
we then were escorted to the restaurant overlooking the center pond. the wait lady was very resourceful about wine pairing and suggested chenin blanc which is my favorite white wine so far.
for entree i had spicy grilled swordfish with lemongrass sambal which was yummy. so had crispy bangalow pork belly entree size which he thoroughly enjoyed.
we shared main which was thai fried chicken served with jasmin rice, the main came with additional sauce so it was complete meal.
we also shared strawberry meringue for dessert. the basil ice cream was heavenly balanced with the sweetness of choc mousse and sourness of strawberry.
there was a medium sized lizard that came to say g'day in the middle of dinner which we found funny.
would love to come here again very very impressed

as a big foodie i was so impressed with my lunch today at spirit house. such a beautiful restaurant & location. service was spot on. highly recommended.

this was one of those experiences that was perfect all around. it’s a bit of a drive from noosa and from the moment we arrived, we had goosebumps. apparently the property used to be a nursery, and the winding path from the car park was lit with lanterns. had some perfect canapés to start that included green curry arancini and salmon straws. a salmon coconut soup was the most delicious 100ml of soup i’ve ever had in my life - so rich and flavoursome, i wish it had been a bigger bowl! the pork belly that followed was so sweet and juicy and the scallops were on a delicious purée. warm beer salad = amazing. duck green curry to die for. could not fault anything. wish i could relive the experience and do it all again. 6/5 but the app won’t let me rate that high!

had a fantastic relaxing long lunch. service was polite and faultless.
we had the large banquet for 6 people. from the first entree right through the whole banquet everything was perfect.
we had two little one who were also made to feel very welcome.
i highly recommend that you take the time to have lunch at this fine restaurant.

this is now the second time i have been to spirit house, first for the cooking class, second for the restaurant. there is no better establishment than spirit house. the best meals i've eaten in my life.

absolutely delicious. we had the cashew snack , the snapper lom and morten bay bug for starters . followed by the crispy fish and lamb massaman. both delicious. when they say crispy they mean crispy. glad we made the choice to visit here . i wish we'd know about the bar section so we could have arrived early and relaxed by the gardens for longer. best cocktail i've had in a long time. well worth the price . staff were excellent in explaining the food and how to eat the dishes.

food is beautiful. wait staff were knowledgeable about the dishes. caters for indoor and outdoor dining. water dragons will come up to you, best place to bring tourist to scare them. ingredients are fresh and aromatic

so many recommendations by family and friends to try the spirit house. we were not disappointed. from the entrance, beautiful tropical garden settings, attentive staff like cheryl, smells and flavours. we tried the banquet which had all their signature dishes. the children were also well catered for. we will be back and we will recommend to others. it is a must place to visit.

this place is somewhere i will never forget! i did a cooking class thinking that it was very expensive ($150) but it was totally worth it! i cooked the whole fish, green curry, tom kha soup and a pork dish, speechless, incredible. the chef (leader) was amazing and made sure everyone was following.

can't wait to go back (i'm going in december to do another class)

this was our third visit to the spirit house and we thoroughly enjoyed it. the restaurant setting was beautiful and peaceful, and the wait staff were attentive and professional.

we had a coconut soup with smoked salmon and the mooloolaba prawn green curry which were both delicious.

the best thing about this place was the wine list which was fantastic. 

maybe it was becuase i was in a large group and we had to order the set menu but the food was lacking.

it was done well and nice but it didn't have that punch in the face of flavour i expect from good south east asian food

i haven't been here for some years now so tonight was the night to come back.

my friend and i had a $100 banquet each and the food was great but a little inconsistent. the service was excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect.

we ate little cones of something tasty for entree served with a great little salmon soup.

for mains we had pork belly which was amazing, it fell apart. then onto some crab followed by a delicious whole barramundi and beef ribs served w a delicious side of compressed cucumber and pineapple.

then onto dessert which was a panacotta w pineapple shavings and a good ice cream.

w that we had a different desert consisting of papaya jellies and other goodies, which i can't remember haha

overall it was an amazing night, definitely worth a visit if your on the sunshine coast. the atmosphere is really peaceful and relaxing.

all i wanted was a hammock and my night would have been perfect, hahaha
