this is our favorite steak house and a real treat. we visit here on date night 2-3 times a year. my favorite is the filet oskar medium rare. it's always cooked perfect!! thesaladbar is also the best in town - always fresh with a wide variety. i highly recommend.

consistently good.  i have eaten at sperry's so many times, started back when it was the brass scales.  throughout the years it has consistently provided appealing, good food, especially steaks, prime rib and seafood.  this is not a "foodie" haven, but pure old school. 
they strive to please their customers, offering 1/2 price bottles of wine from the entire wine list on sundays and mondays.  this august they will extend the 1/2 price offer to the entire month! 
the trout is excellent, the "knob" filet with bearnaise is delicious, and theirsaladbar is till one of the best.  atmosphere is clubby and warm, bar scene can be interesting.  recommended.

french onion soup was good. you cant really mess that up. the blt soup was good, however, it wad lukewarm at best.

blue cheese stuffed filet was excellent.
the waiter suggested lambchops. they were average at best. very disappointing and served with lukewarm soggy sweet potato fries.

thesaladbar is just that. a typicalsaladbar.

the crab mac n cheese was decent. nothing to write home about. you could tell it wasnt made from scratch.

overall, decent experience. lots of old people. i expect a little more on a $150 tab. i honestly could have had an equal experience at outback.

the wine selection was great but the beer selection is pitiful. why is yazoo continued to be shoved down our throats? their beer is awful and pretty much every microbrew in the country does it better.

great food, service, & atmosphere. lots of carnivorous options-even the chopped steak is great. simple but qualitysaladbar w/ homemade dressings.

my wife and i took my grad student son to this establshment for the 1st time this week. nice, polite service and the beef was cooked beautifully. the others chose prine rib and selected a ribeye cooked m-r. the ribeye was outstanding and much too generous for my middle-aged appetite. thesaladbar is consistently good - enjoyed their creamy garlic dressing. fine selection of wine. we had a pleasant cab to accompany our entrees. sperry's will set you back a few bills, but it definitely is worth the trip

this place is great for special ocassions.. a steak house with a newly re-done menu. the food is excellent, with the bananas foster,saladbar and more. then there is the steak which melts in your mouth.

great atmosphere, good steak. this is a classic steak house adorned with lots of wood, white tablecloths and great service. the bleu cheese stuffed filet was very good. with a traditional steak housesaladbar included really great choices of dressing including green goddess, ranch bleu, classic bleu cheese and a great roasted garlic option. the twice baked potato was classically prepared. the house mushroom appetizer was awesome. my only regret was not saving room for the house favorite bananas foster prepared table side.
