friendly service, great atmosphere andnicelocal place!

hoping it sticks around. the food is better than average (try the reuben), the beer selection is great and rivals mellow mushroom's, the atmosphere isniceand usually laid back, and there are many tvs to watch games. my only gripe is that they have a band there on saturday nights when i really would rather go there and just watch a college football game. my friend and i would go there for every evening carolina game if they didn't have the band playing. instead, we end up going to bww's (terrible food) or mm (great food but no sound on the tvs).

my suggestion? limit the bands to friday nights during college football season.

mixed feelings. i love that this place tries to use as much locally sourced food as possible, unfortunately the finished product often leaves something to be desired. the pretzel appetizer (trippy dip) is really good. their pretzels are fresh and their dips are delicious, especially the honey butter. i've ordered the low country reuben and it was pretty good. my husband ordered the pulled pork pizza. that wasn't so good... the crust is made with honey and whole wheat flour which isnicebut it was kind of bland and the pulled pork was really mushy and oily. i'd be up for trying one of their other pizzas but their pulled pork really isn't good in my opinion. the atmosphere here is really great. it's family friendly but also good for getting together with friends. they have live music on fridays and saturdays. i haven't tried any of their beers but they have a lot of drink specials all the time. i brought my brother in law here and he said their in house beers were alright, not spectacular but not bad either. he ordered the steak sandwich which claimed to use ribeye but you could tell it was steak-ums. so far the food has been hit or miss. i adore the concept of this place but for me the execution still needs a little work.

the chosen one. apperantly i went at the wrong time!my lady and i decided to give it a wirl,and discovered not one not two not three but four employes were rude.couldnt get a beer if my life depended on it.i think maybe they werent pre-paired.no one knows how to work the computers.i can handle waitn on a beer if the waitress would bniceand acknowledge you waitn paitently(the ones that r their 4 a tip) my advice order two at a time.it isniceb n smoke free bar atmosphere,and everyone likes fries.whats wrong with baked fries?all that said ive b n there before and everyone wasniceand didnt have to wait on a beer,however,not many patrons.

great! just what florence needed!. this place is the best! went there on opening night and have been back a few times since.the pizza is just right with out too much sauce. the wings are grilled which is anicedifference. the ceasar salad is wonderful. the beer selection is great!!! i highly recommend the vanilla java porter. i can't wait for their beer to be finished and on tap. service is excellent, yes it is a little slow (for right now) but it is a new restaurant and you have to work out the kinks. everyone should give it a try, support it! florence needs somewhere to go besides creek ratz and redbone alley, and i think this is just the place = )
