good place. went there with my wife on valentine's day, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great. i got the chicken alfredo with shrimp which was ok but lacked a little flavor. the lemonade wasgoodi could tell it was freshly made. overall i would go here again but not often.

always agoodtime. we have been frequenting sorrento for numerous years and have always had a great experience. we like the ambiance of sorrento which opened in 1950. the decor includes 100's of chianti bottles hanging from the ceiling representing manygooddining experiences from past patrons. the last time we went was yesterday when once again we had agoodtime. my favorite is the linguini and white clam sauce.

typical americanized italian food. i ordered the chicken parmigiana along with a cup of pasta soup. the soup reminded me of the alphabet soup that campbell's makes, so that pretty much sucked. the chicken parm wasgoodbut it is the same type of dish that you will find at any of the other italian restaurants around town; same flavors that you would also find at an olive garden. very average restaurant with an extremely tacky interior. by the way, the whole chianti bottle decorations do not give the place an added authenticity factor.

better than most others. the atmosphere is great and the service is usually good. the food is no frills and the price is about the same. that's more than can be said for most of the italian places in town.

the bread is the one true turn off for me. it looks like split buns toasted and slathered in butter. but the bread isn't the main attraction anyway. their pasta sauce is hearty and that's what i care about. it isn't watery, it isn't runny, it isn't bland. i love agoodmarinara and this place has one.

i love the chianti bottles hanging on the ceiling!
