just went there for mothers day. there wasn't a whole lot of people there and service was very slow. we had to wait about an hour and 15 min after we ordered. food.was good. it wasn't exceptional but good.

great pasta. we generally go there during the week. the food is good. i am a very picky eater. we go to sorrento's quite often. especially on valentine's day....

omg, terrible experience. waited 20 mins for a table when there were plenty open. the food took another 30 and by then my baby wasn't having it so we had to get it to go. terrible no matter where you eat it. the people were friendly, but i judge on what i'm there for, the food. never going back!

loved it!! cool atmosphere. we had the house salad which was delish!! then the pizza without marinara sauce only fresh tomatoes and it was superb. our waitress was very good too. see you again soon sorrento's!

had their baked spaghetti lunch special ($7.95). wasn't impressed, very bland, no flavor, i think i was better off making hamburger helper. salad was tiny, and the "garlic bread" looked and tasted like a hot dog bun with butter.

authentic food and great atmosphere. best baked spaghetti, lasagne and specialty pizza in town. the shrimp plate has good sized prawns and i frequently get the chicken marsala.

below average for any place in the union. i am italian and do not recognize the style of fresh farm to table here. they serve tasteless italian food and that is all one really needs to say.

it's decently priced. taste is ok. atmosphere is poor. really dark. servers were polite. alright enough to get a quick lunch if you have no other choice.

good place. went there with my wife on valentine's day, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great. i got the chicken alfredo with shrimp which was ok but lacked a little flavor. the lemonade was good i could tell it was freshly made. overall i would go here again but not often.

chefboyardee. there's no way this place can truly call themselves "classic" i went for dinner tonight and i agree the atmosphere was interesting. but the food, far from anything authentic italian. both i and my husband agree the food lacked any flavor whatsoever, i'm almost positive this place has to order salt by the ton. to my suprise, our bill was around $33. if you do the math and youtube an authentic italian meal, im sure you can use that $33 and make a more italian dish then the ones they serve at sorrento's. refund please.

slipping. sorrento's uses canned mushrooms and has sub-par service, featuring surly waitresses. used to be a family favorite, now all but the oldest of us refuse to go. el paso has better options than sorrento's.

always a good time. we have been frequenting sorrento for numerous years and have always had a great experience. we like the ambiance of sorrento which opened in 1950. the decor includes 100's of chianti bottles hanging from the ceiling representing many good dining experiences from past patrons. the last time we went was yesterday when once again we had a good time. my favorite is the linguini and white clam sauce.

stellar service !! spectacular food !!! violet (our waitress) was amazing ... she was attentive and had a great attitude (impossible to find these days) our food was amazing.. had the fettucini alfredo with chicken and shrimp and it was perfectly cooked al dente with a delightfully creamy sauce rich and full of flavor, moist chicken and delicious shrimp .... bread was buttery lightly toasted and served at perfect temperature .... the table was beautifully set and the linen was clean and perfectly folded ... outstanding ,.. just blown away by the attention to detail .... when my mother says "i feel like i'm at home" and my daughter eats every last bite of her meal .... it speaks volumes for the atmosphere, service, and culinary excellence ... bravo ... an encore is definately in order ...

good place, romantic atmosph.... ok place, romantic atmosphere (great for a date) and nice staff. the service was a little slow, took about 30 mins to get our food, don't go if you are in a hurry. the pizza was good, the dough had the perfect consistency and flavor but the pasta tasted like out of a can.

first off, great service! everyone was so nice :)) teresa was our server. however, it's very dim in there due to reliance on candlelight. which makes it perfect for a blind date. if you don't like what you see, just blow out the candle and enjoy the rest of your dinner. the salads are tiny and plain and the bread gets cold really fast. the food was average. i had the chicken parmigiana. for dessert i went with the cannoli which was super sweet. but the chocolate cheesecake and spumoni are great. all in all, the service and dessert aren't worth the money i spent. 6/10
i've had better italian food at jando's.
