if you are a parent, do not eat here. first of all, unless you are ordering pizza, the food is terrible. their manicotti is made from obviously cheap store-bought noodles and the marinara is bland. the service is dreadful. they will not accomodate any request at all that doesn't have a button on the register. also, this place is one of the least child-friendly restaurant's i've ever been to that doesn't have a maître d! i attempted a request for a half-order of cheese ravioli for my 4 yr old son and was flatly denied. after nearly ten minutes of back-and-forth, i told them i would go somewhere else and the manager merely replied "ok" and hung up the phone. so much for customer service.

i love their olive oil sautéed spaghetti ...love it (must like garlic flavor) so delish; their specialty salad is very simple but packed with flavor & it's very refreshing.

i have been here so many times and it never fails to satisfy me! sorrentos is definitely the best restaurant in el paso! no other restaurant could compare to it's amazing atmosphere, service, and delicious food! it definitely stands out!

the best!. that's all i can say. i have been eating here for over 20 years and it has always been a great dining experience. it is a charming little hole in the wall that stands out from other italian places because each item on the menu is well prepared and has its own distinct flavors. not like so many other italian places in el paso that serve different shaped pasta all under the same sauce. this place serves meals that taste home made and fresh. they also have great coffee for after dinner!

typical americanized italian food. i ordered the chicken parmigiana along with a cup of pasta soup. the soup reminded me of the alphabet soup that campbell's makes, so that pretty much sucked. the chicken parm was good but it is the same type of dish that you will find at any of the other italian restaurants around town; same flavors that you would also find at an olive garden. very average restaurant with an extremely tacky interior. by the way, the whole chianti bottle decorations do not give the place an added authenticity factor.

great italian. sorrento has the best italian in town! the lasagna is my personal favorite, though it takes 25 minutes to make, it is worth the wait! the baked spaghetti, pizza, and minestrone soup are phenomenal as well. the atmosphere is cozy and perfect for a cozy date!

better than most others. the atmosphere is great and the service is usually good. the food is no frills and the price is about the same. that's more than can be said for most of the italian places in town.

the bread is the one true turn off for me. it looks like split buns toasted and slathered in butter. but the bread isn't the main attraction anyway. their pasta sauce is hearty and that's what i care about. it isn't watery, it isn't runny, it isn't bland. i love a good marinara and this place has one.

i love the chianti bottles hanging on the ceiling!
