snuffer's

i've been to several snuffers in the dfw area and have never had such an awful experience as i did here. first, the waiter we started with was rude and lacking every essential piece of being a waiter except the title. secondly, the the fries looked like they had been made an hour before we got there, the cheese did not come apart like they should if it was fresh, there were several black fries in the basket too, and they were incredibly over salted! lastly, my chicken fried steak looked and tasted like a hungry man frozen meal. the breeding came off when i stuck my fork in, the gravy tasted of pure salt, and the vegetables looked fresh outta the freezer. gross. needless to say, would never ever reccommend this place to anyone.

a note to the owner/mangers: if something doesn't don't good, salt will not make it taste better! figure out what's wrong with it!!

filling, unhealthy, delicious. the burgers are relatively cheap and come in lots of varieties. the cheese fries are quite famous as well. i ordered the blue cheese burger and the small cheese fries (with bacons, chives and jalapeños). the burger itself was cooked medium and was very moist and tasty. it had quality blue cheese crumbles and dressing. the fries were out of this world. tons of gooey cheese and every bite was just greasy heaven. i left full and happy. do not come here if you are on a diet. very good service as well.

this place kids amazing. great food, great service, & great prics!!! highly recommend!

try the.... cheese fries! tried a big serving of cheese fries after a strong recommendation from my gf and wow, the bested outback steakhouse's cheesefries by just a tad. i really enjoyed how they did not load on the toppings because, more times than not, that seems to make the fries soggy - and who wants soggy fries??

the burger was also very good, went with a bacon cheeseburger. it was just one dang good burger and would highly recommend.

great place to go if you are looking to splurge on a bit of food at a very reasonable cost. service was also good, clean restaurant as well. would definitely go back and earned a "like" from me.

strange service but great cheese fries. snuffers is really good food. not particularly healthy but it tastes awesome. their cheese fries are their staple appetizer. i recommend them "loaded" which means with jalapenos, bacon and chives. after the cheese fries then you can go with whatever on their menu but the cheese fries are a must have. i am a fan of their burger and their spicy battered chicken strips. their grilled chicken strips aren't bad either.

one slight word of warning it that is isn't necessarily the place to go if you need a quick lunch. it can be quick but it is a kind of strange setup where everyone seems to wait on every table. it goes well most of the time, but i have also found myself forgotten there before. with a little patience it is fine but just a word of warning.

asked for a virgin daquiri for my 9 yr old and they brought an alcoholic one. waitress snatched it away from her before she drank any of it. didn't even offer to comp our meal and even charged us for the virgin one they brought. the place smells like a wet sour mop bucket too. i don't care how good the cheese fries are. i'll never set foot here again.

i love thier swiss-mushroom burger. they have the best swiss-mushroom burger in town. i order it without the fixens. just swiss cheese, sauteed mushrooms and mayo. yummy...making me hungry just thinking about it.

wow great burgers and heart attack good cheese fries. don't forget the jalapeno!!

miss it. i went to smu and had never gone to snuffers until i left smu. the cheesefries are a must at each visit - used to be able to put down a large with a chicken sandwich. the only complaint i have is the fact that they have changed the ranch sauce. i have now been to every snuffers in d/fw and love it everytime.

idk what joseph is talking about?? it's really nice inside. little yes, but as nice as chilis or applebees. superfilling!! pretty good burgers not the best ever but i definely will be back

if you live in dallas or are just visiting you really must do yourself a favor and indulge in their famous cheese fries. they are no less than manna from heaven (with the best ranch dressing in the universe for dousing. i mean dipping). love the burgers, too but the cheesefries are just incomparable. if you don't like them there is something wrong with your tongue and you should seek medical attention..... ;)

my opinion. the place is somewhat run down and the burgers are nothing like jake's and if you want fries go to moohay also they need to clean this place.....and now they are bk....way to go

time to leave this place. allow me to say that i used to love snuffers.
unfortunately, i find that i am no longer comfortable in this establishment because of the rude behavior of their manager to customers i am now forced to put my $ into competitor's cash registers. i think it's a tragedy when an obnoxious manager treats customers the way they do when the "food" was horrible and all he could do is defend this "bad" food.

we were looking for a good burger and decided to try snuffers in plano. it was absolutely the worst burger i have ever tasted. they were charred, extremely salty - to the point i couldn't eat it. tried both the cheese fries and the regular. both were awful. tasted greesy, as if the oil hadn't been changed in quite awhile. stear clear. want a good burger done the way you like it, go to houstons.
