delicious and classy. outstanding service and delicious food. one of my favorite restaurants. the brisket, pulled pork and the roasted vegetables are my favorites.greatlocation on the river. i try to eat there as often as possible.

my favorite. i absolutely love smoke on the water. i have had the pulled pork with mac n cheese and slaw. and topped my pulled pork off with all of their different bbq sauces. the pulled pork was so tender it just melted in my mouth. i washed everything down with their awesome sweet tea. excellent meal, excellent service, andgreatprices!

passable bbq,greatsides and nice atmosphere. pulled pork is good but like one reviewer said, not a ton of smoke on it. that being said the sides are fantastic. the collard greens, fried okra and mac and cheese are way above average. sit outside if the weather is nice and you have a real treat.

after several trips, i am revising my vote down. many times here a menu item soundsgreatbutthe actual item does not live up. pulled pork is not smokey. i had the fried catfish sammy and there was over twice the bread over fish. ridiculous. overall mediocre food. the location and atmo aregreatbut really i don't think it is worth it for mediocre food. sorry.

this is agreatrestaurant. barbeque is to die for. don't bother with the crabcake po boy though. casual, masculine sensibility to the atmosphere with a lovely view from the back porch or people watching in front. go to this restaurant!

the food isgreatand so is the atmosphere.
only problem is the wait. i love everything on the menu. we try to go when downtown isn't busy.

always good. this is the first seat down place i.had been.to in greenville and i always make it back ever few mos be.it bbq steak , shrimp and grits or even to eatgreatamazing fries and.good.beer for dinner. never a bad.meal

great lunch and value!. stopped in for lunch. food wasgreatat a good price. friendly staff. had fried pearl oysters, baby back ribs, onion rings, fried catfish. all were great. good sauces too. dessert menu looked good but we were stuffed.

family favorite. been here plenty of times. favorites are the ribs, smoke wings ,half chicken, spinach casserole, mac and cheese, greens, briquette , did i miss anything. never dissatisfied with the food or service. my wife and i have turned on three couples to this place and all enjoyed. must try!greatlocation but beware, planned events are always a norm so you may have to wait! if you don't like "smoke" then you haven't experience good food,greatobiance, and fair prices with the luxury of downtime greenville sc.

my girlfriend and i have gone here a few times now and i must say it's agreatdeal for the amount of money you pay. it's not any more expensive than going out to a normal dining restaurant but a much nicer venue and setting. the food is alwaysgreatwe have had pork, brisket, ribs and the prime rib. all of which were some of the best we have had. agreatplace to go on a date with a slight budget in mind if you still want a nicer venue. we will go back for sure.

unimpressive. the pork was good, i like that i could try four different sauces before committing to one, but the side dishes (two of us tried four different ones) were unseasoned and lame. the service was disappointing (customers shouldn't have to ask to have their glasses refilled). we had to ask for our check before we finished because our waitress wasn't paying attention to our table. that was a disappointing dinner in an otherwisegreatcity.

very enjoyable. i thoroughly enjoyed lunching here on a whim. i am on a strict gluten free diet and they were very accommodating to that the homemade barbecue sauces were all gluten free except for one. i had the seared tuna, spinach casserole and the smoke'n jackets.greatservice and nice serene atmosphere!

just driving through greenville. my family and i were just driving from nashville back to d.c and we stopped at this restaurant for a taste of southern food. it was agreatexperience...loved the combination chicken and ribs platter. mac and cheese was different but very tasty and i loved the spinach casserole. definitely a good look if you want some authentic bbq,greatambiance, and excellent service. very reasonable prices too for the amount of food you receive.

for my main course, i had the combo platter with brisket and pulled pork with sides of fried okra and sugar snap peas. in a word, the meal was fantastic. the pulled pork has agreatsmoke flavor, is tender, and not dry at all. you can definitely eat it without adding any sauce, but the sauce definitely enhances the flavor. my personal favorite is a spicy vinegar based sauce, but you can also choose from sc mustard, kc sweet, and a house red sauce.

not bad. we ordered the smoke n' jackets with pulled pork and they were awesome! for dinner we got the half racket of baby backs (which were pretty fatty and didn't have a lot of taste) and the briskett (again just ok). maybe it was just what we ordered, but you can't go wrong with those smoke n' jackets! also, the service was good and back patio was agreatplace to sit, so cool place!

awesome!. i really liked the food here. excellent environment, prices aren't too bad, and the location is in happening downtown greenville, not far from river falls park. if your looking for agreattime, please go here and order the pulled pork with turnips!
