smashburger

this is probably the best burger i've had in a long time. it was filling and flavorful, and the smashfrieswere also delicious. i think i've made myself a burger snob after this one.

this place was interesting. there are so many different types of burger joints that everybody hypes up and they aren't that great. this place is a little of the opposite... the burgers are smashed right on the grill, which causes them to be very greasy. however, the flavor is great! they definitely suit your desires while still keeping things simple. thefriesreminded me of mcdonalds and weren't great, the shakes are also just okay. the restaurant is a little small and things are crammed. it's definitely worth trying. it's a good burger that flies a little under the radar. i'd say it's a 3/5...

i was pleasantly surprised. this was my first time eating at one of these restaurants and the food was really good. the haystacks onions were super thin and crispy and thefrieswere perfect! i also got a veggie sandwich (basically a burger minus the meat) and it was exactly what i wanted. the staff was very attentive as well and made sure that i was getting exactly what i'd ordered. i will definitely eat here again.

the burger was really good! i’d rate it above crown burger and probably even in-n-out. it still doesn’t top my favorite place so far, lucky 13 – but it’s pretty close. i’ve already since been told that i need to try the fried pickles and i also want to try the sweet potatofriesand veggie frites – so we will be back soon.

hands down the best burger around, love the option of a multi-grain bun!friesare just average but they do have sweet potato fries.

prices a bit high. i enjoyed smashburger a lot. the burger was quality and their smashfries were decent. i appreciate the audacity to actually doctor theirfriesup a bit with various herbs. i got their beehive burger every time i have gone, and there is no doubt it's good stuff.
however, their prices are a bit high in my opinion. there are no combo meals with burger and fries, or even a drink. they do offer like a 50cent discount if you order a burger andfriesthough. aside from that, a full combo meal will set you back about $8-10. if the full meal was around $7 i would have no problem, but every time i go to smashburger i always think about astro burger just across the street and feel like i would have gotten a similar quality meal for less money.

overall, good food, just a tad high in price though. worth the visit for the unique burgers they offer though.

are portions getting smaller?. i really like smashburger, except for their fry sauce (ranch and catsup mixed - yuck!) but the last couple of times i picked up orders to go, it seems like they have cut the potion size of their smash fries. you definitely do not get enoughfriesto justify the $1.99 price. i work near the valley fair mall and the smashburger there gives you a lot more for your money.

fantastic burgers. this is a step up from the traditional in-and-out or apollo burger fast food burgers in my opinion. i love the bbq honey bacon beehive burger. the smashfriesare ok. not my fave but worry a try. in the old u food location (which was terrible food by the way) in the parking lot of jo-ann fabric store on 123rd south.
