for anasianresturant, most people consider a place that looks so out of date that 1985 has called and they want the resturant back.
but not here at sing's. it is clean and simple, but the decor isn't reminiscent of the mid 80's era.
the food is fresh and doesn't have that i'll be hungry again later feel to it. it is simple but could be found in an upmarket place that could be reminiscent of the flower drum in melbourne without the exorbitant price tag.
the three dishes that i personally recommend are the peking duck, the soft shell crab and the dry red curry (great for those who aren't a fan of coconut milk).

lovely but loud. singsasiankitchen has great food! it's a very popular restaurant so make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment. also be prepared to speak loudly because the tables are very close together and always full making the restaurant very loud and hard to have conversation. besides that it's a greta place for anasianmeal.

sing'sasiankitchen is a nice find - just a pity that car parks weren't! but that isn't the fault of the two young staff members, who could not have been more helpful and understanding as we three older ladies sought their counsel due to some dietary requirements, questions about the 80 something dishes available, and a request for a bit of menu "tweaking" was perfectly ok. no frills, but no fuss either. to the all-important fare: vegetarian laksa was bountiful in size, flavour, and included an incredible array of fresh vegetables (i lost count after 10). the waiter didn't bat an eyelid when i asked for some fish balls amongst the mix! the chicken char kway teow had us all gasping at the generous serve. as this particular fellow diner had not been feeling too well and didn't know what to expect from the dish, it was very heartening to see her demolish the contents of the entire plate - at break neck speed, it must be observed! the third in our party chose duck in peppercorns - one of the chef's specials, i think. she pronounced it to be delicious, but like me needed a doggy bag in order to enjoy the rest for dinner. we shared a bottle of wine, and the cost per head was just over $19. i found the food to be authentic, plentiful, and reasonably priced. very impressed with the young man 'running the show' too. it's a cheap and cheerful little place with no airs and graces. now if they could just swap the number of flies with the amount of carparks, it would have been a score of 5.

the food is average; what you find at anyasianrestaurant. i will say the curry puffs were divine.

the rude service and tacky fit out brings it down terribly. the waiter has zero interest in customer service, scolding and snapping at us all night. the furniture is not comfortable and looks like it's from the dollar store. they should hire more staff - they can certainly afford to with the turnout - management must be stingy.

not good or authentic  at all. they messed up the malaysian/singaporian chinese food. the satay was bad (how exactly do you mess up satay?) the char quey tiao shouldnt have so much vegetables . also took too long to arrive and definately not worth the price. the food is not a good example ofasianfood. its very telling when the restaurant is only popular with nonasianpeople becauseasianpeople know that the real thing should taste better than this. i dont know how good the vietnamese dishes are we didnt order any but the malaysian/singaporian chinese food was definately not good.

thought what better way to soak up a easter monday than tucking into a big bowl of beef pho, and we decided sings will do the job. nothing fancy about the decor or settings on sings, or the service which is prompt and polite. this place is known for no nonsenseasiandishes that come out thick and fast, and has a good local following. having some san choy boa for entree, nice little starter and then tucking into our pho, the dish has all the smells of what to expect, good flavours and plenty of beef slices. overall a nice pho and meal for lunch. only small complaint was having to ask for chilli or sauce, as no salt/pepper or sauces on the tables. good value food here though and plenty of choices.

disappointing laksa

the staff here had rather a strong accent and we had an issue communicating. the custom service was below average on theasianrestaurant scale. i was seated in a crowded area and it was very noisy while the lighting was also dim, making it hard to read the menu which consisted of a mixture ofasiandishes - jack of all trades style. i ordered a bowl of laksa which lacked lustre and the broth was weak. there was only a few slices of chicken and cut veggies - definitelyasianstinginess!!!

sing's is a nice littleasianjoint with a moderately priced menu and decent food. pleasantly it also skips the tacky decorations and artwork present in someasianrestaurants. we ordered two takeaway salad bowls, both of which were tasty and some of the better ones i've had. last time we came i was double charged on my card and when i showed this to the manager she was very nice and apologetic and sorted out our bill without fuss. the customer service was a refreshing change from some other restaurants, and was definitely noticed. all in all a great joint to check out for a cheap and casual dinner.

this is amazing. honestly, this is one of the bestasianrestaurant in brisbane. the food is to die for- i recommend the salmon pie fish (it isn't a pie, or salmon for that matter but it's damn good)- this dish is by far one of the best meals i have ever eaten. the entrees are superb too!! i love the coconut drink and would suggest you try it!

service is good and wait time is superb. you will need to book if you are going for dinner on any night of the week it is so popular!!!

i recommend this restaurant ahead of any other!!! you must go!!
