awesome little place!. i have been several times now, andchefmah does a great job. i love checking out the specials; they are always a daring and delicous fusion of flavors. the burgers are juicy and tasty, although sometimes a little heavy on the oregano. the fat panda burger has become my go-to favorite, made with korean beef bulgogi! the soups and sides are great too. the friendly chef/ owner, the local feel, and the fresh toppings bar complete a great experience there. hats off!

creative and unique. i am not that big of a burger fanatic. it has to be a great homemade burger for me to like it, and i must say that sidestreet burgers has become one of my favorite burger joints.chefmah is doing some creative and unique things here. if you haven't already, go try it out!

everything on the menu is delicious!! andchefmah has wonderful specials!! if you're not into burgers, he will have something to please your tastebuds!

sidestreet burgers are out of this world!!! the burgers are full of flavor and the potato wedges are delicious! such an amazing alternative to crappy processed fast food. jon is a one man show, and everything is cooked fresh for you. he is constantly expanding his menu and trying new things. i have had all but 1 item on his menu, and everything is delicious and fresh!!! love sidestreet!!

omg the cuban!. sidestreet is our favorite lunch place. my husband and i are in there frequently. the variety is amazing, thechefis amazing and the food, well it's amazing too, my favorite sandwich was the fat panda, with it's pure deliciousness...until today. my husband ordered the cuban and i almost took it away from him. i took two bites and was blown away. this sandwich is just full of flavor! the pickles and memphis barbeque sauce on top of that gorgeous ham, crispy bacon, divine pork loin, spicy mustard and melted swiss was like having a sexy party in my mouth. this is going to be my go to sandwich for as long as its on the menu. i might even get brave enough to throw some jalepenos on there next time. well done,chefmah, well done!

displaced new yorker. the fat panda is amazing!! mahi mahi is pure perfection! the burgers are fantastic. a "must eat" location.chefmah is definitely going places.

chef mah is a one-man machine – “the head dishwasher, cashier, waiter and chef” – inside sidestreet and i can only imagine that the place is jumping during the lunch rush. i wish it was where i could get there during my lunch break so i could introduce my coworkers tochefmah’s creations.

tasty hole in the wall. it's all about the food, so if you're the type that might not care for a ''work in progress'' building, and a cash only policy, you'll be missing out. that's ok though, as this place can't hold more than a dozen people who don't mind some close quarters.

so, the food. it's full of layers of texture. herbs like rosemary and garlic make it into a ground pork patty that is much tastier than the ''burger'' label would have you believe. the actual beef burger on the menu is juicy and flavorful, and when topped with the ''street cheese'' blend, it's one of tne best cheeseburgers to be had in the memphis metro area.

the irish car bomb pudding with warm whiskey sauce deserves it's own paragraph. heck, it deserves to have it's own bakery all to itself churning out huge quantities to ship all around the world like corky's managed to do with a lesser quality product. however, this dense flavorful yet light as air concoction is produced only in artisinal small quantity amounts and when it's sold out, it's sold out. call it in and go get it before that happens. it's worth it.

ther is always a special or two that makes the chalkboard and is worth trying as well. it's a sole proprietorship, andchefmah does everything himself, (everything!) so don't get in a huge hurry. this isn't fast food, even though it might be mostly a burger joint.

bring cash and be prepared to smile. great food, friendlychefand hole in the wall atmosphere. order the fat panda and an irish carbomb bread pudding, i promise you'll be all smiles.

this is one of my favorite places to eat!! everything we have ever tried has been amazing, but favorites are: hott pigg, fat panda, mac and cheese, pimento and cheese and our daughter sayschefmakes an "awesome" pizza:). if you live within 20 miles of this place, why would you eat anywhere else? i'm serious. why??

absolutely the best burger in olive branch!.chefmah is amazing. don't just focus on the burgers though, the hot pigg and fat panda are both amazing along with the custom side dishes like the cucumber salad! the prices are really awesome too...he is on facebook and regularly interacts with his audience and offers discounts if you say a certain phrase...like go vols or go rebs...cash only so have some green on you when you go. there isn't a lot of room in the actual business so it's really a place where you call it in and pick it up but this in no way minimizes how awesome the food is! perfect for lunch or dinner! can you tell i like the place?

sidestreet burgers is the best kept secret in olive branch! it's a local little gourmet burger & sammy spot that will knock your socks off!chefma knows regulars by name and is the nicest guy. he is always trying something new and delicious!

for a great burger, take a sidestreet. looking for a great burger? it's not on main street, it's at sidestreet! just went back for the 2nd time and were not disappointed.chefjonathan (think it's odd calling a man serving burgers a chef? from your first bite you'll see that it's well-deserved) is an adventurer on a quest for flavor. on both of our visits (dining with my wife) we took jonathan's suggestions from the specials board - turkey burger, ground pork (hot pigg) burger with bacon and slaw, spicy pimento cheese sandwich, asiago mac n' cheese, and irish car bomb bread pudding. i travel a lot and have dined all over the world. i'll try anything, but i'm also fairly slow to praise a meal. believe me when i tell you that you'll love every bite of whatever you order at sidestreet!chefjonathan is also just a great guy from all indications. so, make time, take cash, and discover an off the path secret that won't be secret for long! by the by, he's closed on mondays and holidays.

wow, what a gem!. read the reviews, looked at the pics, so i was expecting nothing short of wonderful-ness from this lil burger joint andchefmah totally delivered! the sidestreet burger was juicy and hearty with hints of garlic and onion, toppings were fresh, and the sidestreet cheese topping combo was right on. also, owen brennan's or ruth chris may need to buy the irish carbomb bread pudding recipe off mah because it was just that exquisite. can't wait to try the cinnamon roll/cream cheese dessert and the giant panda!!! humble building with plenty of history, inviting atmosphere, a total dive and all-around great burger fix- not to mention wallet-friendly prices. a++++

with a youngchefbringing a strong sense of humor, creativity and general love of food to his establishment; mah has made the little restaurant a place worth following.

dining outside the box.chefmah does an excellent job presenting burgers to his customer in a different way. everything is made to order. there is always something new and different added to the menu. all of the food is very flavorful. i highly recommend it and to try everything on the menu. i have had nearly everything on the menu. favorite is the loaded 1/2 # sidestreet burger with bacon,and blue cheese. get the loaded potatoes as a side. if you have room try out one of his cookies or other specialties desserts. on a cold night pick up some of his very hearty beer cheese soup.
