sidestreet burgers

awesome little place!. i have been several times now, and chef mah does a great job. i love checking out the specials; they are always a daring and delicous fusion of flavors. the burgers are juicy and tasty, although sometimes a little heavy on the oregano. the fat pandaburgerhas become my go-to favorite, made with korean beef bulgogi! the soups and sides are great too. the friendly chef/ owner, the local feel, and the fresh toppings bar complete a great experience there. hats off!

creative and unique. i am not that big of aburgerfanatic. it has to be a great homemadeburgerfor me to like it, and i must say that sidestreet burgers has become one of my favoriteburgerjoints. chef mah is doing some creative and unique things here. if you haven't already, go try it out!

first time in. great burger. not a boring dryburgerlike most chainburgerplaces.

best buger i have to date,. i really enjoyed myburger, the service was excellent. wokers were polite and friendly.

it's a small campy, funky place that puts out awesome food!   i had a gyro, my hubby had aburgerwith street cheese. my gyro was huge and i loved the sandwich bar where one can dress a sandwich as they like. tzatziki sauce is on that bar, so i got just the perfect amount for my gyro. nice. the hubs is aburgerfan. it has to be a really goodburgerto be bragged about like this man bragged about his side street burger. i had one bite of it and knew it's very likely one of the mid-south's very best burgers. i'd put thatburgerup against any in the usa. it's just that good. now, if robert irvine could show up and tackle the atmosphere in the dining room, this place would have lines out into the parking lot.

my type of spot!. i got the southwest black beanburgerwith red pepper relish. bangin!burgerhad a nice crust and didn't fall apart like most bean burgers. garlic potato wedges also bangin! more like a home fry than potato wedges though - you'll need a fork. only thing that could have made it better was some avocado. and vegan pepper jack. but for real, this was great. i'm in from out of town so i'm glad i could find a veganburgerin ob. but i had to go on facebook to find out you had them! please add to your regular menu!

my husband, our very picky preteen daughter and i loved it. i don't eat beef (i know, i know) and most places cannot cook a decent turkeyburgerbut this place was fantastic. husband & daughter loved the "real" burgers. thanks for a great dinner! we will be repeat customers.

had sidestreet burgers for the first time today, and it will definitely not be the last. the sidestreetburgerwith bacon and sauté onions was awesome and really filling. we will be back to try other menu items. easily the bestburgeri have had in the memphis/north ms area possibly ever.

tasty hole in the wall. it's all about the food, so if you're the type that might not care for a ''work in progress'' building, and a cash only policy, you'll be missing out. that's ok though, as this place can't hold more than a dozen people who don't mind some close quarters.

so, the food. it's full of layers of texture. herbs like rosemary and garlic make it into a ground pork patty that is much tastier than the ''burger'' label would have you believe. the actual beefburgeron the menu is juicy and flavorful, and when topped with the ''street cheese'' blend, it's one of tne best cheeseburgers to be had in the memphis metro area.

the irish car bomb pudding with warm whiskey sauce deserves it's own paragraph. heck, it deserves to have it's own bakery all to itself churning out huge quantities to ship all around the world like corky's managed to do with a lesser quality product. however, this dense flavorful yet light as air concoction is produced only in artisinal small quantity amounts and when it's sold out, it's sold out. call it in and go get it before that happens. it's worth it.

ther is always a special or two that makes the chalkboard and is worth trying as well. it's a sole proprietorship, and chef mah does everything himself, (everything!) so don't get in a huge hurry. this isn't fast food, even though it might be mostly aburgerjoint.

best burgers ever. my husband and i have eaten twice at this littleburgerjoint. it is now our favorite of all favorites for burgers. my newest favorite is the pig. basically ground pork instead do ground beef. he uses the best combinations of spices in his burgers. the barbecue sauce he makes is out do this world. he says he uses apple butter in it. he does not fry anything and his potato wedges make you never want french fries again. he has a wonderful sense of humor and you immediately feel as if you have known him for a long time. i call this my favorite hole in the wallburgerjoint around. spread the word.

burger taste overpowered by rosemary. i would've enjoyed the hot juicyburgeri ordered a lot more, had it not been overly seasoned with rosemary, which my taste buds did not like. in my opinion, rosemary and beef definitely don't go well together. rosemary and chicken, a definite yes. i'll gladly try other items on the menu, but i'll stay away from their burgers. hold the rosemary and i will gladly try one again.

absolutely the bestburgerin olive branch!. chef mah is amazing. don't just focus on the burgers though, the hot pigg and fat panda are both amazing along with the custom side dishes like the cucumber salad! the prices are really awesome too...he is on facebook and regularly interacts with his audience and offers discounts if you say a certain phrase...like go vols or go rebs...cash only so have some green on you when you go. there isn't a lot of room in the actual business so it's really a place where you call it in and pick it up but this in no way minimizes how awesome the food is! perfect for lunch or dinner! can you tell i like the place?
