sidelines sports bar

we always enjoy sidelines. service has always been great. a greatplaceto watch sports. the food has never disappointed. ten years and counting......sidelines is always our first stop when we head to the beach.

my family of 6 ate here..child friendlyplace.. wait staff is great.. food is good. we had the wings and loaded fries with ranch.. all was good . drinks are over priced

our favorite casual non seafoodplaceon the island. my boyfriend, 2 yr old daughter and i visit pensacola beach from nashville, tn 2-3 times a year. being from a landlocked state we enjoy the availability of fresh seafood during our stay. however, we love being able to pop into sidelines and grab a burger and fries for a nice change of pace. the burgers are juicy and the dressed with fresh tomatoes lettuce and the like. i am a believer in hot crisp salted fries and they deliver. we are always seated within minutes and the service is good considering how busy they stay. located in the parking lot of the hampton is a plus also, its within walking distance of the majority of the hotels on via de luna. i recommend it and cant wait to go again!

was leery of sports bar on beach butplacewas busy and crowded. the food was good and large portions for the money. wait staff was on the ball and fast. didn't have to wait long for the food.

what actually does the .49 cent wing special really entail??! not what you think.... okay,maybe i am just stupid but i understand you can't bring your .49 leftover wings home i guess,but why the heck can't you(my wife) order just 5 wings and still get them for .49 when i am getting 10 wings?? i ended up having to get all garlic butter style because if i got 10 hot and she got 5 garlic butter we wouldn't have been able to get the .49 special. terrible when you can't even order what you want without being punished for it. not getting our business again. i guess that is why it wasn't crowded for 5pm dinner. i should have probably told the manager what i thought about it. then again,that is what urbanspoon is for,lol.
btw....found a great spot called ollies on 9mi rd.(they are in santa rosa on hwy.90 as well). they have 44 cent wing night on tuesdays and you can order any amount of wings,mix the flavors,and bring the damn things home too! our meal of 25 wings,fries,celery,dips,and two beers was only $20.00. their wings are awesome!!

greatplacefor me and my daughter everytime i go to the beach. my daughter always gets the bbq burger which is her favorite. she loves their bbq sauce more than any other place. i have never gotten anything that i didn't like there. i love their wings and got their fried grouper sandwich this time we went. it came out of the bun it was so big and i could only eat half. the fries are hot and cooked to perfection. their ranch taste like no other. i think it is homemade. the service was superb,never once did the waitress let our teas go even half way without refilling them. i recommend it for any kind of food whether you want wings or seafood,or burgers. i also wanted to add that the time we waited really wasn't too bad considering the summer crowd.

greatplaceto watch the game. food, beer selection, service and prices are good. get there early if you want to get the sound on the game that you want to watch - thisplacefills up fast. recommend getting there just after opening and sitting out on the patio: wings are outstanding.

if all you are going to do is drink and watch tv then thisplaceis kkk... but the food (appetizers) are out of a can and meh... the service day horrible. our waitress had no desire to be at work today... needless to say i had no desire to leave a tip today

the sports bar on pensacola beach...and the food is good!. this is basically the only sports bar on pensacola beach. plenty of bars throw up banners and decorations for football season but this is an actual sports bar. you can't look in a direction and not see a tv in this place. all the sports packages, everything. get there plenty early on game days or you ain't getting a seat. great ribs, wings, and burgers. i like the chef salad and the fried mushroom appetizer, both are huge and delicious. the rib appetizer is a pretty good sized portion of ribs if you want to try them with something else instead of getting the whole rack entrée. on thursdays the wings are on special, all year, every thursday, even during football season. they have several different flavors of wings and they are all real good, honey hot is kick ass! thisplaceand it's sister store peglegs are always packed for a reason ya'll....its good.

its bar food, its fried and its cheap for the location. ok beer selection, tons of tvs to watch sports. not a badplaceto hang out.

great local hangout!. i love the fish sandwich with the mushrooms and peppers....and especially love the fried stuffed mushrooms. this may not be the healthiestplaceto eat, but they give you more bang for the buck....if you order the fried fish sandwich, you can take enough home for another meal. sometimes the service is a little slow, and there is often a wait out the door. but it is worth it.

always a winner!. been many times. the wings are the best i have found in the area. burgers are cooked just as ordered and very tasty. parking and summertime crowds keep me from eating here as often as i would like, but it is a great off-seasonplaceto eat and watch a game!

greatplacefor sports food/drinks. we were there during spring break so ncaa basketball tournament was on. theplacewas packed. good food with a party type atmosphere but family friendly. you can order the wings hot enough to bring you to your knees! fun place.

beer and wings. thisplacecan get very, very crowded on summer weekend so beware! fun for a guy's night out. located near a goofy golf and the "main beach." they great prices on wings and beer.
