sidelines sports bar

our favorite casual non seafood place on the island. my boyfriend, 2 yr old daughter and i visit pensacola beach from nashville, tn 2-3 times a year. being from a landlocked state we enjoy the availability of fresh seafood during our stay. however, we love being able to pop into sidelines and grab a burger and fries for a nice change of pace. the burgers are juicy and the dressed with fresh tomatoes lettuce and the like. i am a believer inhotcrisp salted fries and they deliver. we are always seated within minutes and the service is good considering how busy they stay. located in the parking lot of the hampton is a plus also, its within walking distance of the majority of the hotels on via de luna. i recommend it and cant wait to go again!

what actually does the .49 cent wing special really entail??! not what you think.... okay,maybe i am just stupid but i understand you can't bring your .49 leftover wings home i guess,but why the heck can't you(my wife) order just 5 wings and still get them for .49 when i am getting 10 wings?? i ended up having to get all garlic butter style because if i got 10hotand she got 5 garlic butter we wouldn't have been able to get the .49 special. terrible when you can't even order what you want without being punished for it. not getting our business again. i guess that is why it wasn't crowded for 5pm dinner. i should have probably told the manager what i thought about it. then again,that is what urbanspoon is for,lol.
btw....found a great spot called ollies on 9mi rd.(they are in santa rosa on hwy.90 as well). they have 44 cent wing night on tuesdays and you can order any amount of wings,mix the flavors,and bring the damn things home too! our meal of 25 wings,fries,celery,dips,and two beers was only $20.00. their wings are awesome!!

great place for me and my daughter everytime i go to the beach. my daughter always gets the bbq burger which is her favorite. she loves their bbq sauce more than any other place. i have never gotten anything that i didn't like there. i love their wings and got their fried grouper sandwich this time we went. it came out of the bun it was so big and i could only eat half. the fries arehotand cooked to perfection. their ranch taste like no other. i think it is homemade. the service was superb,never once did the waitress let our teas go even half way without refilling them. i recommend it for any kind of food whether you want wings or seafood,or burgers. i also wanted to add that the time we waited really wasn't too bad considering the summer crowd.

the sports bar on pensacola beach...and the food is good!. this is basically the only sports bar on pensacola beach. plenty of bars throw up banners and decorations for football season but this is an actual sports bar. you can't look in a direction and not see a tv in this place. all the sports packages, everything. get there plenty early on game days or you ain't getting a seat. great ribs, wings, and burgers. i like the chef salad and the fried mushroom appetizer, both are huge and delicious. the rib appetizer is a pretty good sized portion of ribs if you want to try them with something else instead of getting the whole rack entrée. on thursdays the wings are on special, all year, every thursday, even during football season. they have several different flavors of wings and they are all real good, honeyhotis kick ass! this place and it's sister store peglegs are always packed for a reason ya'll....its good.

sports bar food and atmosphere.... oh and did i say, it's on pensacola beach! .49 cent wing special was perfect with an ice cold beer! garlic and butter or teriyaki for me......hotones are hot!

good food for the money. visited in busy summer season on popular wing night!! (thurs.) waited almost 45 min. for a table and then another hour for food. however....wings were not bad and no complaints about atmosphere, friendliness of staff, or the food! we ate wings, shrimp dinner and burgers! all portions were enormous and really good! if we ever go to pensacola beach again.. we would eat there.... heard some complaining about waitress attire but short shorts and a t-shirt (not fitted) i didn't think was too bad considering naked old women had been around all day walking the area in bikinis.....it ishotand the girls are working..some outside running back and forth...give them a break!

i travel a lot and always go for the local flavor so in florida, have been eating seafood. my server said the wings were awesome so tried the hail mail flavor. by far, the besthotwings ever had. glad i didn't try the hurt me because hail mary was enough heat (i've done blazin challenge) and perfect flavor. highly recommend!

greatest bar food ever!. i can safely say that i had the greatest grilled chicken sandwich of my life at sidelines. you have to go there and try the san diego chicken sandwich charbroiled. i recommend adding some of sideline's homemadehotsauce on it to give it a little extra kick. the servers are friendly and the location is on the beach. my party also ate the fresh catch sandwich, which was grouper that day, and enjoyed it just as much as i did my chicken sandwich. you cannot go wrong with this place!!!

great place for sports food/drinks. we were there during spring break so ncaa basketball tournament was on. the place was packed. good food with a party type atmosphere but family friendly. you can order the wingshotenough to bring you to your knees! fun place.

great sports bar!! the best wings!!. if you like watching sports, eating really good chicken wings, and good draft beer, look no further. i started with the smoked tuna dip - unbelievable! then i hadhotwings and sam adams draft, and it was everything i hoped for and more! lots of tv's scattered around the restaurant guarantees whatever sport you like, they've probably got it on one!! highly recommended!!
