heard about this legendary place and made sure to give a visit while in jodhpur. it's easy to locate near ghantaghar market. place is neat and clean.

extremely famous for it's makhaniya lassi, we ordered the same here. they don't have variety of lassis but only one type of lassi.

lassi was yellowish in color due to saffron flavour and was served in kullads. it's topped with a dollop of makhan making it more tasty. all this for just rs.35/-

they serve doodh jalebis, mirchi badas, kachoris etc too.

saw many awards nicely decorated in there.

ambience 3.5/5
situated in a small area in ghantaghar, it has accommodated benches and tables.

food 4/5 - we tried one sample of each -
lassi (was excellent.. right consistency and sweetness.).
kalakand and rabdi - it was tough to distinguish between the two but both were thick and pure. not the powder mixed ones we get in metros.
pedha - was good, but we get similar ones in pune too. gundpak - this was the highlight for me - it contained edible gum mixed with super saturated milk cake.. it was served hot and yummy to taste. highly recommended!

service - 4/5
fast and prompt

value for money - 4/5
per kg rate was around 360, but the purity is unquestionable, making it a value for money proposition.

will i go again? yes definitely..

3 ratinga for lassi only. lassi is good but not the best like the one you find in delhi. still, you must try it, restaurant is near railway station so i suggest you to go straight to this place after stepping down to platform and yes do not try #mirchivada with #lassi togethe as it can make your stomach go crazy.

situated near ghanta ghar/clock tower..this is probably the only one that is open early mornings for breakfast.
we reached the nearby shahi samosa at 8 am and were given a waiting time of 30 mins.
we went strolling towards ghanta ghar and landed up here.

the only things available were the mogar kachori and mirchi bada.

mogar kachori is basically kachori with a spicy moong dal stuffing.
perfect for a winter morning.

they don't actually serve chai but the guy making it for his owner was kind enough to get us a little when we asked.

the mirchi bada was pretty inconsistent.
another jodhpur speciality that is basically stuffed chilli peppers and deep fried.
while we enjoyed the first round which had us craving for more, the second one did not give us the same feel.

a must go to breakfast place in jodhpur

heard so much about this place which is located near ghanta ghar in jodhpur. when i was in jodhpur took time and visited this place. i had malai lassi and mava kachori. i must say that the lassi was dam yummy with lots of malai in it, probably the best lassi i have ever had in past few days. mava kachori was way sweet to me as i am not habitual to eat too much sweet. so if you are in jodhpur this place shouldn’t be missed indeed. you can try onion kachori and mirchi vada as well.

this place has been my favourite since childhood. serving the best lassi in the whole town. even if i have lassis elsewhere in india and abroad, it cannot match the taste of this place. this is almost a old place serving authentic lassis and quicknites. very popular among the locals and tourists.
