mirchi wada was not tasty at all. the potatoes in the masala was not mashed properly and the outer layering was too thik.
moreover the size was also very small.

no trip to jodhpur is complete without the lassi and kachori at shri mishrilal! tucked away in a quite corner facing the clock tower, this iconic eatery has some of the best snacks you can get your hands on.
you have people pouring in at all times of the day (because the stuff here are worth the hype).

the prices are reasonable and the service is real quick. their all time famous makhaniya lassi, rabri and gulab jamun are to die for! among savouries - mirchi vada and kachori will top the list!

makhaniya lassi and rabdi here are world famous. lassi is so thick that you have to use spoon to eat it rather than drinking it.
.
mava kachori is also good.

as iconic as it could get.
the famous pede from mishrilal. a must try sweet when u are in jodhpur.
we tried to make a weird combination by trying this peda with their famous rabdi and it sort of worked. ask @flogbykhushalibhurat for details.
have u tried this yet??

an old sweet shop counter with tables inside a small room as you walk past a narrow passage.

shri mishrilal calls itself a hotel despite a mostly sweet, milk, lassi and kachori menu. being situated right below the clock tower gate makes it a big touristy attraction too. supposed to be famous for it’s makhaniya ( buttery) lassi so that’s what i tried on a nippy morning . the lassi priced at inr 40 is served with a small spoonful of white creamy butter ( nearby market stall folks say they used to be served a big dollop many years ago that’s slowly reduced in size ). the lassi tastes more like a liquefied shrikhand honestly. nothing great like the amritsar lassi.

don’t expect cleanliness here nor a great flavour of the lassi. over hyped sadly and probably best to brand this a liquid shrikhand !!!!

mishrilal hotel is located near ghantaghar. this legendary place is running successfully since 1927. this place is famous for many things but they are particularly famous for makhaniya lassi and rabri. i really loved makhaniya lassi which was thick and creamy. rabri was great, not that much sweet. this place is almost always crowded with people. don't expect classy ambience because hotel is very small.
