during my visit tojodhpurmy cousin took me to this 92 years old place, we had makhaniya lassi and rabadi, lassi was topped with makhan and was delicious, rabadi was little on sweeter side, overall worth of visit for sure. happy experience.

the place is a little over rated.

yes, it is more like a heritage place for not just people of jodhpur, but for anyone who has even one relative who ever came here - because mishrilal peda is a must take away when in jodhpur. thus, a lot of people have nostalgia factor attached to it.

however, the place is overrated right now, because the peda, the lassi - are is a bit too sweet. the kind of sweet that hits you in the throat.
as a child, when i had these pedas in my hometown, not injodhpur- they had a perfect balance of elaichi and sweet.

the peda right now is so sweet that if you make kulfi, rabdi out of the mesh of peda, with just one tea spoon of sugar in 1 liter milk, it would turn out to be perfect sweet.

mishrilal lassi wala a famous landmark in jodhpur. located near clock tower this place is not only frequented by locals but also by foreigners and indian tourist. established in 1927 famous among people of all age groups.
when i got chance i couldn't miss it.
from lassi to sweet delicacies to namkeen to mirchi wada this place has all.
i simply loved the lassi with malai (cream on top) best known as makhaniya lassi that's so creamy and rich that foodies use the term "eating" for the drink. it is best tasted with a spoon due to heavy texture. loved it 😍
it is must have if you are injodhpuradd it in your to do list in jodhpur!!!!!!

no trip tojodhpuris complete without the lassi and kachori at shri mishrilal! tucked away in a quite corner facing the clock tower, this iconic eatery has some of the best snacks you can get your hands on.
you have people pouring in at all times of the day (because the stuff here are worth the hype).

the prices are reasonable and the service is real quick. their all time famous makhaniya lassi, rabri and gulab jamun are to die for! among savouries - mirchi vada and kachori will top the list!

saw the zomato rating n tried the makhana lassi n must say it's amazing
the taste of the lassi is little unique n the makkan over it steals the shows completely
try the lassi in kullad rather then the glass as it taste very good
a must visit place injodhpurspecifically when you are near to ganta ghar

situated near ghanta ghar/clock tower..this is probably the only one that is open early mornings for breakfast.
we reached the nearby shahi samosa at 8 am and were given a waiting time of 30 mins.
we went strolling towards ghanta ghar and landed up here.

the only things available were the mogar kachori and mirchi bada.

mogar kachori is basically kachori with a spicy moong dal stuffing.
perfect for a winter morning.

they don't actually serve chai but the guy making it for his owner was kind enough to get us a little when we asked.

the mirchi bada was pretty inconsistent.
anotherjodhpurspeciality that is basically stuffed chilli peppers and deep fried.
while we enjoyed the first round which had us craving for more, the second one did not give us the same feel.

a must go to breakfast place in jodhpur

heard so much about this place which is located near ghanta ghar in jodhpur. when i was injodhpurtook time and visited this place. i had malai lassi and mava kachori. i must say that the lassi was dam yummy with lots of malai in it, probably the best lassi i have ever had in past few days. mava kachori was way sweet to me as i am not habitual to eat too much sweet. so if you are injodhpurthis place shouldn’t be missed indeed. you can try onion kachori and mirchi vada as well.
