well, i totally love the place and the concept behind the place. you get basicfoodhere but the quality is really good. it is run by the acid attack survivors. may not be from face or body, these women have beautiful hearts and this is what makes the.better than any other women.
it is definitely one of the finest and a must visit in the city of taj.
do have a visit.
also, they don't have a rate card for the menu, so be generous while u pay them.

i went there after seeing zomato ratings and also because this was one of the only places to get open at 10am in the vicinity. it’s run by acid attack survivors. so, a huge shoutout for it. the staff was very friendly and warm. few people might consider that unprofessional however. the cafe had a nice look to it. they have books to read and handmade items for sale. the menu is modest. we ordered two drinks; cold coffee and iced tea, and a veg burger and chilli potatoes. thefoodwas good. burger was really nice. chilli potatoes wasn’t that spicy and crispy. it wasn’t made by a sous chef of course. but it was decent, nothing i’d complain. since they were opening their bakery section, they offered us a walnut brownie and a muffin complimentary. they told us that we can go to the reception to get it self billed. when we reached there they asked for feedback. and to “pay as you wish”. now that’s an intimidating idea but a very new concept in india. so i really appreciate that. i paid a decent amount for what we eat. and i didn’t have a single negative experience as sone of the reviews i checked had. so it was overwhelming to be there but they need this. so do visit. and be human.

there is a clear difference between empowerment and charity. these people have their heart and soul in the right place and i sincerely laud them for this step - having an establishment like sheroes hangout - in this day and age in our country. but i was absolutely livid after spending an afternoon here.

i did not get to see any of the amazingfoodyour reviewers have raved about. you are not teaching these brave women bravery by serving a fried mccain tikki in a stale bun passing off as a burger. you are not teaching these women self sufficiency by letting them serve sub par food, and stocking childish drawings and corny messages printed on tshirts and mugs put up for sale to foreign tourists who have never imagined the realities indian society has to face even in the 21st century. the worst thing you can do in the name of empowerment is not having set prices for your dishes.

you are not any random ngo running a simple charity asking for donations in return for some superficial display of seva. you have taken an important step towards giving power to these amazing ladies and men who have been unfairly treated in the worst way possible by us. it is very crucial that you make them realize their potential and self worth by ensuring quality in yourfoodand service (and also your merchandise), and prepare them to face the world by asking them to demand the right price for their product, educating them in regulatory systems like book keeping and taxation based on the revenues of your cafe, arm them with artillery to their teeth so that they can find their way in the world for the next 50 years of their life.

your model of running this place disgusted me simply because you guys can achieve a lot more.

this place is situated at the central area near taj mahal. you get an all together different vibe when you come across this place. it is a cafe cum book store cum shopping store. with colourful decor this place offers more than just food.
although thefoodlack taste and is bit simple for a restaurant their services and warm guesture and smiles make up for that.
i really appreciated their initiative and warmth but i wish they increase thefoodquality and taste.

i appreciate the concept but like many of the negative reviews here, i’ll have to say that thefoodhere is not very good. it was pretty average. and also the ‘pay as you wish’ system is a scam. i ordered 2 shakes and one honey chilly potato and thought of paying rs 800 which i think is fair enough. but the lady blatantly said that it is too less and i ended up paying rs 1000. i went with my friend when we were both 19 years old. how is it fair to ask for more money from two kids? the cafe is highly overrated. they should work on improving.

ordered hara bhara kabab, mixed pakoras and pasta for takeout. all thefoodwent to dustbin as not a single piece was eatable. pakodas and kebabs were raw and in pasta there was cauliflower more than pasta. good for the name and cause but don’t expect quality food.

a place run by acid attack survivors. so, it’s the responsibility of people to support it whenever one visits agra.

i visited this place when i was in agra a few days ago, after i got to know that this place is run by acid attack survivors.

i ordered veg sandwich and chai. both of them were mediocre in taste.

service is good. everyone at the cafe welcomes you with smile. ambience is chic. when it comes to prices, there’s no fixed price and it is up to the customer, how much ever he pays.

the only suggestion i could give to the management here is to improve the taste offooddrastically. iffoodtaste doesn’t improve, customers may feel it as donation instead of support.

hygiene - 4/5
taste - 2/5
service - 5/5
ambience - 4/5

overall experience - 4/5

can't even begin to explain my disappointed when i ordered from this 4.8 rated place on my trip to agra. thefoodwas tasteless and of low quality. the white sauce pasta was just boiled pasta. i don't understand how this place got such a high rating. the kadhai paneer was sweet for some reason

must visit place
so this amazing cafe is run by acid attack survivor women who serve extremely deliciousfoodand provide the best of hospitality.
there is a mini library in the cafe and the walls are ladden with posters of these survivors their life stories.
and the most special thing about this place is that they don't have price of any dish on the pamphlets, one has to pay whatever he/she is willing to pay
