brajen kalita , lunch at sanghai salsa , loved the food. cheap beer and good food. burritos ,porkribs , grilledporkplatter is what we relished on. ambience is amazing and really supportive staff , really good and cosy location

lovely place... the jamaican bbqporkwas lip-smacking... it had been an era since i had actually tasted that great a dish. decor and ambience are above average... however the location is the set-back as it is in some tiny alley and very less people actually know about this place... it's an 8 on 10.

we visited "shanghai salsa" in the eve and the interior was quite nice which added a good ambience to the place. though it's a small bar cum cafe, it was quite cozy inside and we had a good time altogether. they also organise live gigs , karaoke sessions etc, so if you are interested, you can enquire about it before you go. we ordered the roasted chili garlic basilporkwhich went quite well with the lager tower that we ordered. would love to visit again and try their other delicacies.

great place to hangout with friends. drinks are good and friendly bartenders. good to sit over the bar counter as well.
i loved their dmz wings. finger licking good!!!
their house specialporkribs are a must order.

the place gets really lively when there's live performance!

i have been here more then 10 times and i really like this place. its just that it used to be better with the better food quality and quantity. the fries used to be cheesier and generous quantity. but it is not anymore. the chilli garlic basilporkused to be more yummy. i think there is a different chef now. shanghai is not what it used to be.
p.s- i gave 5 star when i visited first. but it's not the same anymore so i edited my review.

update: i can see they have changed their menu including many more items and even the quantity has inceases again so 4 stars again. even the taste has improved again.

if you love spicy food then you should definately try el diablo chicken wings. theporkbbq was okay-ish but the asian bowl was heavenly. overall it was a good experience. the ambience went perfect w the music they played that day

a wonderful cozy place, serves great food and music!porkis clean and responsibly sourced. the serving staff is polite and helpful and is ably led by the captain. the restaurant has a smoking room too. the menu is thoughtfully put together and portions are adequate. the restaurant does not use msg/ ajino moto. evenly priced and affordable. overall, a great experience

nice place. ambience is good. nice country music playing in the background. the cocktail rates are moderate and affordable. recommend the barbequeporkribs. yummy yumm 😋😋 would like a little more variety of beers though.

been there a couple of times. the drinks and food are affordable. the bartender serves excellent cocktails. the food though looked great tasted mediocre.. no oomph factor. the bbqporkwas a disaster, it tasted sweet not in tune with the taste buds of the local population.... we want jhola!.

highly recommend the burgers excellent!

service excellent!

but it gets crowded sometimes... so you'll have to wait for sometime to grab a seat.

and live music!

a very nice mexican classy ambiance of you are looking for spending some quality time with a group of friends or colleagues. they have special performing artists playing for you while you have your food which generally starts by 7:30 and lights up the whole place. we ordered for a simba tower for drinks. for food we ordered for butter garlic prawn and aporkitem whose name i don't remember. the food tasted good while i wish the quantity would be more. overall a very good ambiance and experience.

as i have come for vacation,its my first visit to this place. ambience is okay , food is average. music is not good. very less waiters, we ordered cajun grilled prawns, stuffed baked chicken, chef's specialpork& long island iced tea.

this place tops my friends's favourite list but, i beg to differ. the place is usually very crowded and after a wait of 15 - 20 mins we got a table. (they do not take reservation) i am not into loud music, so it did not suit me, it was exceptionally crowded and stuffed. i don't drink, so they were serving only three mocktails neither of them was fruit flavors so it made me sad. :( the food took a long time and the quantity was really less. we orderedporkbasil which tasted awesome but quantity was shocking. the chicken hakka noodles came after 45 mins and it tasted horrible. no salt and it was plain, no oil no sauce nothing! maybe it is me who is not into such places, otherwise, shanghai salsa is a big hit among all. also, my 7 up came after half and hour. *cries*

it's always been a go-to place, and it never disappoints. from friendly staff to the amazing concoctions to the lipsmacking booze food, it's all worth the time and money spent. especially the bbqporkand the all-time-fav hawaiian chicken skewers are worth recommending! mocktails are a must-try and the staple beers come chilled!
