shanghai salsa

i've visited this place several times. but never have i dropped a review. this is my first review and trust me shanghai salsa has earned it. it is one of the best places serving alcohol in guwahati which is also pocket friendly. you won't regret going to this place. be it a date or with yourfriendsor even a lonely time in the bar counter. trust me, it can heal depression too. service is very nice and kind. it's one of my favourite locations rn. if you haven't visited, well you should regret.

since it was saturday night went there to chill withfriendsbut it became so horrified for all of us due to their dévasting service..won't even rate them in minus..such a worst experience, ordered for a tower of beer but unfortunately the beer was not chilled. we asked the waiter to change it but according to the waiter,beer which is served in a tower is always served in room temperature and we have to wait for some minutes until it is chilled due to the ice in the tower. we cancelled the tower and ordered two bottles of beer. the waiter said if u order a beer bottle we can serve you a chilled one but when the waiter was about to serve , the other waiter who took back the tower asked him not to serve us the chilled one as we have asked them to take back the tower as it was not chilled. as we were sitting next to the service door we could properly see what conversations was going on. seriously it was shocking to know that they are least bothered about their guest and their orders . it's a big no for me and it was shocking to see such a bad behaviour . advise ,u guys need to shut down soon...plz wrap up your business👎🏻 if this kind of behaviour and attitude continues.

great place. great food. great service. great crowd. i'm a regular customer there. chill place to go out withfriendsas well as family. staff is very welcoming as well.

a good place to have a drink and do a little chit chat withfriendsand loved ones. reasonable price and a good ambience. i wish there was some facility to drink and smoke together. also, the last time i went, wasn't happy with the bartender. overall, it's worth giving a visit and is a popular spot among the people, here.

had these super spicy chicken wings with bhoot jolokia sauce. literally cried after taking a bite of this😭 couldn't resist to eat it cause it was yummy at the same time. the burger was good too. ambiance is perfect. 😍 i'm in love with this place. it is the best place for spending the evening withfriendsor someone special.

two stars for the food as the chicken drumsticks i tasted were good . on the other hand very cramped and congested place ,beers were not chilled, came single and wanted to sit at the counter but saw the owner and a couple of hisfriendsoccupied the place , i mean literally as an owner your customers come first i guess but anyhow even the crowd which was earlier good now seems like a haven for rowdy college kids and noisy teenagers...i bet some kids might even be underage... not expected from one the places which i once loved ... sad state of affairs

good for an evening out withfriendsor dinners because of the live music sessions that they have but i haven't had a pleasant experience with their staff. the servers are very rude and they act like they are doing you some kind of favour by even coming near your table. i'm a frequent customer to this place only because myfriendsseem to like it and every time, the staff has been very arrogant and rude.

i have visited this place before. however this time i was very disappointed with the service ,ambience and most importantly food. i can understand the slow service due to the rush. however in this heat who can bear the loud music with no ac. fans were on but how can it take off the heat with these many people. coming to food, i understand mexican food is spicy. but only using red chili powder and sauce doesn’t make it mexican. where is the taste? and no words the quantity of food at that price. and an advice, please don’t keep the items in the menu if it cant ordered. many items on the menu were not available.
i wanted myfriendsto visit the place and went there to spend a weekend night on my request. however everyone was quite disappointed and didn’t have a great night. hope the restaurant can improve on these points and i can visit again to have have great food and great time.

i had heard about this place from my friends. i went to have beer tower with myfriendsbut unfortunately they said nowadays towers are not available so we settled for pitchers. it was a nice cozy place. nice place to hangout with small group. the food was also nice but i was disappointed at the quantity. the quantity was very less. otherwise its a nice place.

this was the first restro bar i visited since i came in guwahati. nice ambiance and good music. the drinks are in budget plus which is good for weekends meet with yourfriendsor chilling. the food quality can be improvised though as it really doesn't match the rates i paid. and also takes longer than expected to get it served. for drinks and light snacks it's a good place.

the ambience , is one to die for !! , easily reminds me of those easy and cozy bars in london !!

the service , they do take a bit of time to serve you or even to get u the cheque , which can sometimes get on the nerve !!

the food and the live music , does adds to the experience !!

the place has a really good vibe! it's a nice place to chill withfriendsover good drinks. they have a nice range of mocktails and cocktails. and food is also good. the staff is nice although service is a little slow. but the ambience and live music will keep the good times alive!

a very nice mexican classy ambiance of you are looking for spending some quality time with a group offriendsor colleagues. they have special performing artists playing for you while you have your food which generally starts by 7:30 and lights up the whole place. we ordered for a simba tower for drinks. for food we ordered for butter garlic prawn and a pork item whose name i don't remember. the food tasted good while i wish the quantity would be more. overall a very good ambiance and experience.

the place is mostly filled up with youth and trendy crowds...

nice place to hangout withfriendsand family 😃ordered caseoso fries and cajun grilled prawns 🍤🍤 as starters which were good in taste but i felt the quantity to be a little less 🙁for the mains we opted for five spiced noodles along with cuban roast chicken curry 🐔 the noodles was ok but i fell in love with the curry since it was very creamy and cheesy 🧀🧀 thus, my liking for this place further continues....cheers 🍻🍻
