shanghai salsa

first - ordered veg cajun spaghetti pasta. check the image - it's written cajunchickenpasta. after calling them, they said it's veg only but writing part is wrong. my question is how can they expect for a pure vegetarian to eat something in which the act of suspicion is clear?

second - packaging. it's served in a plastic bag which they said it's a hot bag. but no, it's a normal foil bag which didn't keep my food warm. moreover pasta served in a plastic? doesn't it make sense?

third - no cutlery. upon asking about the same they said the online operator asked them not to send any cutlery. i ordered from swiggy and swiggy doesn't mention anything related to this thing. what if someone wants to eat it while he/she is traveling?

fourth - because of the so called hot bag, the pasta smelled differently. what i ate in the restaurant and what was served to me today was totally different.

i have been here quite a few times and have found it to be a great place to try out new cuisine specially mexican ones. the place is a bit hard to find but if one gets to hatigarh chariali then its just a stone throw from there. the ambiance is quite good and comfortable and gives out the continental look. we went to the place to try out something new and settled to try out caribbean cuisine and ordered cajun plato and the stuffed bakedchickenand found both to be very good. i would definitely give this place another visit, as its worth it.

cozy and warm! friendly staff! drinks are affordable ! not a great variety available but decent! we ordered the very very hot wings.. and it burnt our lips, tongue and everything, just like we were promised ! the wings were not dry which is a plus. we ordered for teriyakichickennext, i would say they were not very generous with the portion here.. less pieces ofchickenbut lots of capsi and onions ! then we called for an hawaiian skewer which was good, only a few pieces of thechickenwere undercooked. i would have given them a 4 if not for the undercookedchicken!

i really loved this place. the staff is good. the food is good. the place is a little small but the ambience is nice. and the best part is, it is not overpriced.
we orderedchickensatay which was definitely tasty. also had wine and mojito to go with it.

i loved the ambience.trust me its one of the best bar cum restro in guwahati for evening hangouts with friends.no smoking zone just the balcony ..chilly basilchickenwas really yum..teriyakichickenalso was good..but the latter was better ..dimmed lights was really a wanted thing...red wine @150 was reasonable specially in guwahati..breezer costed 150bucks which was actually less than those costing 250 for one...vodka shots also was also of reasona ble price but sprite taken will cost you 25extra...mocktails menu is limited though...njoy ur meals guys..

it was my first visit and the food was not up to the mark. staff's behaviour is good. the korean bbqchickendidnot at all taste like bbqchickenas it wasn't juicy but rather very hard, same goes for thechickenwings, the shanghai salsa nachos, fries and the platter were good but can be made better.

its a pub so we didnt expect the food to be great. but didnt expect it to be so bad either (ordered korean friedchickenandchickenwith basil). most of the items in the menu was not available. service was really slow. the french fries were good though so that saved the evening from being ruined.

caseoso fries,chickenin orange sauce and christmas special roasted duck with plum sauce. the cocktails are pretty amazing!

i’m the kind of a person who needs to chill every weekend & this place is my go to place to grab a drink for 3 reasons.
1. the alcohol here is cheaper than rest of the bars in guwahati
2. it has a great food menu. i’ve tried all of theirchickenand pork
items. but i’m forever crushing over the shanghai salsa special burger and caseoso fries. also they serves taco cause max ivan so yay for me.
3. it’s walking distance from my house. lol.
i can’t possibly think of anything that i don’t like about this place. live music, great bar and food menu, good crowd, friendly staffs, dope ambiance so they get full points.

there are very few things and places that ascertain a level of an emotion in my ladder of experience. shanghai salsa is one such emotion. no matter how many new places come up in the vicinity and inside the city, i can't really give up a good thing for a flashy exhibition of mediocrity. i always come back to the salsa for few drinks and a plate of el diablo wings. another condiment is thechickennachos, a large portion and tastes fine with any drink i choose. however, would prefer with less cheese and mayo toppings. (4/5).
and finally, over three years of my visit, tried the calamari brooklyn for the first time. really loved the crisp, not heavy, not greasy, with that sweet, tangy sauce balancing the taste buds. no fishy business. (5/5)
service is absolutely amiable, with such welcoming and friendly staff. never a boring conversation with any of them, so far. (5/5)

and absolute value for money. (5/5). this place is well known, no wonder why! for me, it's one i would trust blindly for a peg or two, or a pint or a pitcher with friends. come summer, come winter, i would always tune to the 'groove of the salsa'.

chilli orangechickenis my all time the best here. love the ambience of the place. the prices of the food and drinks are ok according to the quantity. my all time favourite place to be.

ambience is awesome... cajun prawn and bhoot julokiachickenwings are so good... live music sessions are just beyond sensational..
reasonable overall a good place.. one of my favorite place in town. i loved their service... a good place to hangout with friends..
