was invited for an iftar event to this restaurant. the restaurant was already packed when we entered and it wasn't even iftar time yet. the buffet spread was massive! they even had sushi! can you believe it? unfortunately, none of the dishes were too great. the focus was more on the quantity rather than the quality. they had some reallygreatpicks like the make your own pasta station, butter chicken and a separate felafel station. but nothing left a lasting impression. overall i'd say it was just about average. the service was really good and servers kept bustling around to make sure we had everything in place. they have all the elements to make this the most talked about iftar buffet in town but the lack of flavors in the food just diminishes the whole experience.

here is my first review of this ramadan’s iftar which began at seasons restaurant situated in pullman jlt. this was my second visit to the restaurant, i had pleasant dining memories from last year. so again with the start of ramadan , hotel offersgreatramadan deals for iftar & suhoor. season restaurant has ample seating outdoor and indoor. pullman jlt has a wide lobby .

there are buffets for iftar and this year i've been to some fabulous ones so far. the iftar buffet at seasons has agreatdeal for uae residents and has some amazingly fresh and tasty food along with agreatvariety.

the place was crowded simply showing its popularity and there were happy faces everywhere with people enjoying the food and the ambience. the service for a buffet spread is exceptionally good with the staff being very attentive to clear out plates very quickly. 

the spread isgreatwith a huge variety of salads, supremely fresh hot mezze, the lamb ouzi, chicken roast and a variety of mains. of course, it goes without saying that you will be spoilt for choice with the desserts.

to break the fast, there were some dry fruits on the table and the efficient staff kept on refilling water. for one who is fasting, drinking plenty of water after iftar is a must and these guys have you covered. i started with the cold mezze and enjoyed the fattoush, the hummus with meat and the regular hummus. the cold mezze were very very good. what impressed me more were the sambosek, meat kibbeh and the spring rolls. 

i tried the lamb ouzi which clearly stood out in taste. there were some unassumingly tasty dishes such as the penne pasta with mushroom sauce and chicken shawarma. the shawarma had sliced chicken pieces perfectly grilled and placed with bread. this gives a choice to diners to have it with or without bread.

in the mains, i thoroughly enjoyed the samak harra - the fish in a thick sauce. the fish was extremely fresh. i also had the vegetable biryani and the butter chicken. there is so much attention to detail that the biryani had raita (yogurt), pickles and apricot sauce kept with it. the butter chicken went very well with the biryani as it was perfectly creamy.

its difficult to do justice to an iftar buffet when you have been fasting all day and i can tell you that this buffet for sure offers something for every taste bud.

the desserts station is huge and one can say its a iftar buffet by itself. there are plenty of international and mediterranean selection of desserts. one sweet dish that caught my attention was the rice pudding that had mango pulp in it. it was very different that the regular rice puddings. then there were cakes from which i tried the tiramisu, chocolate deviled cake and the blueberry cheesecake. from he selection of arabic desserts, i tried the basbusa and loved it.

we went there for iftar. the variety of food was good and included a few different stations. good choice of drinks. the taste was not compromised at all.greatservice too.

i was invited to try the wonderful iftar buffet experience today and really enjoyed a lot . absolutely worth the try and highly recommend it. !
wide varieties of authentic dishes .. i really love all the food and it is the best for ramadan with attention to details .
there is even full section with huge arabic and international desserts.. not only that but also ice cream as well ..
i got full but never get enough .. everything is to die for !
service is perfect and staff is very friendly . all in all everything is made to perfection here .
it isgreatalso with zomato gold you can redeem 1+1 for this amazing restaurant.

ok so here is a very detailed review about everything i experienced from their iftar offering:
1.ambience: 4/5
the table that they reserved for us was at a dark place. but i expected a bit more form a five star hotel. however the covered outdoor seats near the bar was nice. the decor was also pretty good.
2. food 5/5
the main reason why i gave this restaurant a 5 star is mainly because of this..
before i came here i checked for a detailed food review but i did not find it. so no ive decided to write it..
i) lamb &rice (the highlight)
theres nothing fancyof the lamb (not anything in peculiar like the new zealand or aussie) but thegreatpart is the doneness of the lamb and they included the ribs too! the rice was perfectly seasoned andgreatto go with the lamb. the usual nasty smell of lamb is not there. my friends who hates lamb started to like lamb
ii)cold mezze and sushi
well there are two sushi dishes..idk what are they but sushi lovers willl like it. there is agreatofferring of dressings and arabian style cheeses
iii)pasta
the pasta was average .. would have been better with a dash of olive oil and more cheese.
iv)sheesh tawook 
there were two types of sheesh tawook offered, one was on skewers which was dry and below my expectations but after eating the shredded one, i totally changed my mind.
v)shawarma station:
the shawarmas were ok. the chicken was pretty good and packed with delicious combo of veggies.
it is a healthier option with way less oil and well seasoned version of a shawarma.
vi)the lamb koftas:
the lamb koftas were well seasoned but had the gamey lamb smell which i really dont like.
vii)deserts:
the deserts were amazzinggg.the smell of chocolate will make you extremely tempted  and will hit your nose from far. chocolate dishes are a treat for your tongue.
viii)fruits and vegetables
i recommend grabbing a few fruits to eat for good digestion of the food that you ate...
they have a good selection of fruits .
ix)filipino dishes:
i was too full to try em
x) butter chicken and vegetable biriyani
these were well prepared indian delicacies.chicken was tender and biriyani was nice
xi)spaghetti sort of thing was also good
xii)arabic sweets:
the arabic sweets were really good .
xiii)juices
here i was dissapointed to find the absence of fresh juies,but the jallab,ayran was good
however the foods i couldnt try were:
lamb okra
hot mezze
falafels and beans
3.service 4/5
i only wish the lady serving us could have bothered us a bit less. but i wouldnt complain.
4. discouts and offers 5/5:
you can try this restaurant at a really affordable rate(aed70 pp) if you have the entertainer..
otherwise (at a price of 135 pp) also it is worth it.
overall a really good restaurant with a wide range of ala-carte options too.

i was here to try their iftar menu.

the place is spacious and they also have an air conditioned outdoor space, which makes itgreatfor the summer!

for the buffet, they had a wide variety, catering to the vegetarians and non vegetarians. they also had a crazy amount of desserts, which really got the dessert lover in me excited. unfortunately, none of it made the cut. while the desserts looked appealing and tempting, they were pretty mediocre in taste. the same applies to the food.
with regards to the food, it was either bland or too sour.

i believe in quality over quantity. so probably serving few dishes with impressive flavors would be a lot better than having a variety with none of them making it though.

experience rating – 7/10

dishes tried – buffet (biryani, pasta, daal makhani, meat and seafood grills, desserts)

opinion – food guide official visited pullman jlt to try out their brunch at seasons restaurant. the brunch offers extensive dishes ranging from international, indian, mediterranean and italian cuisine. the grills were decent especially with sauces to improve the taste. biryani was a bit dry. daal makhani was on point. they also have agreatselection of desserts to spoil yourself.

pullman jlt has a fantastic all day dining option cashed seasons where they offer an incredibly affordable buffet with different themes throughout the week, topped off with the fabulous seafood night in thursdays that all of dubai looks forward to. i particularly enjoy pullman because they are a hidden gem of a 5 star that not many people know about so it is very easy to have the restaurant to yourself. for those that do know about pullman, they are treated to agreatmeal at an incredible price.

pullman jumeirah lakes towers is a 5-star hotel which is ideally located in jlt facing the sheikh zayed road. it is a beautiful hotel with modern facilities & has the gorgeous panoramic view of dubai skyline.

seasons restaurant is on the first floor, offering all-day dining concept. it has a massive friday brunch buffet with variety of items. on friday, the place was crowded with families having agreattime. the restaurant has a modern décor and they have optimally utilized all the space, even have a separate kid’s play area. a clown was there to cheer the kids while parents could enjoy their food. there is also an outdoor sitting area which would be ideal during winters for evening gatherings. the live singing by the lady was pleasant and entertaining. the staff was super energetic and the service was outclass. they were attentive and at sight throughout for any assistance.

the buffet included almost everything; soups & salads sections, chicken/beef dishes, seafood, ribs, even sushi! it also had separate live cooking stations for pasta, shawarma and mexican tacos. indian dishes were placed in outdoor section. there was a large corner area dedicated to desserts and fruits. in short, the buffet had everything for everyone. all the items were absolutely fresh and excellent in taste. i tried to mix up my plate to taste maximum dishes and i was impressed. the food overall was pleasant and flavorful. pasta, shawarma and biriyani were my favorite. everything in the desserts section was masterpiece, i tried few of the items and they tasted as good as they appeared.

apart from all these delectable items, they also had shisha on the menu. so people can just hang out and have a wonderful time. i had a delightful experience at the seasons restaurant and would recommend all my followers to visit. it is also available on entertainer which makes it irresistible, literally.

what agreatand tasty selection of food ! and the best thing about it is the value for money is just perfect !. the service of the staff is on-point and the general ambience was relaxes and welcoming.

food isgreatand ambiance is wonderful..sushi corner of the restaurant is my favorite. family gatherings are always done here as they have live singer for adults and kids corner with face painting clown but i noticed lately the absence of the entertaining clown who does not only entertain the kids but allow us parents to enjoy our meals knowing our kids are taken cared of, making us choose another restaurant with the same kids area activities.

we had a festive brunch on a friday for a group of six. we loved the meat and seafood at the live cooking station. the desserts are not overwhelmingly sweet, which we really like. excellent staff service as everyone is very friendly and accommodating of our requests.

we also enjoyed the live band serenading us in the background! overall agreatdining experience!greatvalue for money.
