the most shocking service i've ever had by david (part owner) i was sitting with my starbucks coffee with a friend who was eating a meal from the cafe and david came out and told me its very rude what i was doing and i should not be sitting at his cafe with my drink, he was pointing the finger at me telling me i had to leave, so i left my friend sitting there she couldn't even finish her meal, i was in tears and he made a scene in front of all his customers, i was extremely embarrassed!!! i would say this is the worst customer service i have ever experienced! would defiantly not recommend this cafe!!

i arrived and was ready to order breakfast however found the menu disappointing and the staff not overly helpful.
had a mochacino and it was too sweet and not as good as i expected. did not order anything to eat in the end.

my two sisters & i had the best lunch experience yesterday, the staff were amazing & full of fun & never once tried to hurry us to make our food choices....we were there for 2-hours! the food was fabulous great selection and arrived at our table with in a reasonable time ..not that we noticed the time we were having a great time chatting & laughing. wine selection was great as well. we all really enjoyed our "sisters lunch" well done everyone who worked yesterday 08 may 2014

casually visit this lovely place on our one day trip in hamilton. amazing coffee, food and so on. would be highly recommended to all.

rating 4.0. fairly non-assuming cafe serving up some wonderful food. absolutely loved the aglio olio with chorizo. the pasta on its own might sound plain, but it’s packed full of flavours and very satisfying. the chorizo gave it the protein kick, but it would’ve been just as good without. my friend liked her pyttin panna, a bit too much potatoes, but all the elements were good. great place for lunch.

the cakes and coffee here will definitely live up to expectation. perfect place to come for a little treat and good coffee always makes the day a little better!

came here hoping to get the crepes based on a photo i had seen but i went to late and got there for the lunch menu. ordered the massaman chicken curry. i’m actually glad i missed the brunch menu because that curry was fullllllll of flavour!!! the chicken to potato ratio was a good balance. it was a good portion for the price, the side salad was a nice accompaniment. staff were very friendly and attentive

came here for a brunch date with friends. ate aglio olio as recommended by my friend very tasty and had a lot of flavour from the parsley, olive oil and cheese. it was thoroughly enhanced by the chilli flakes which the waiter had kindly give to us by the lovely staff. i recommend having it with spicy chorizo which elevated the flavour even more.

had the aglio olio and salmon bagel. everything was really fresh and tasted so good!! coffee was amazing too. really wishing there was a cafe like this one in auckland too!

went here on a holiday morning with my family and friend. three members of us ordered the aglio olio spaghetti, two with chorizo and the other was chicken. they were satisfied with the food. it was quite different. i had the rarakor, it was yum but i think the serving was a little small.

award winning cafe consecutive years~certainly lives up to it!
aglio olio is a must eat here~
and their cakes and desserts here never fails you along with a nice cuppa coffee~❤
their staff is super awesome and nice

wonderful cafe with great food, good coffee and above and beyond friendly and helpful service. i would highly recommend coming here for your extended breakfast - the house made gravlax is excellent.

the staff and service was really good, the environment was lively. we bought 2 dishes, the signature spaghetti dish and the potato pancake.
the signature dish was well priced and good. to me a signature dish is a recipe that identifies an individual chef or restaurant. ideally it should be unique... but the dish i had could be duplicated at home by a cooking enthusiast.

we were looking for somewhere that had something a little different on the menu and we weren’t disappointed. i had the roast pumpkin salad which was very nice. a touch of spice to liven it up was just the perfect addition. an enjoyable lunch experience with a good ambience too. well done to all the staff.
