great food and very friendly staff, i visited for breakfast and really enjoyed the meal i ordered, wait time was refreshingly fast. what more is there to say

great place! great service and great food! try the tiramisu!! great coffee as well! great place to stop by for breakfast or brunch! the pasta is peppery and creamy!

firstly we ordered a ice coffee and a caramel latte which both tasted like water. then i asked for them to make me a bagel with cream cheese, sliced tomato and poached eggs in which the waiter replied i don't we think we can slice tomatoes and we only do poached eggs on certain weekdays at certain times. the waiter also said he could give me cream fraiche not cream cheese even though they had a cream cheese bagel on the menu.. at this point we should of walked out which we regret as it was the worst $51 spent in my life.

friendly staffs when we walkes in. we tried their popular spaghetti and the duck sala, both were delicious and fresh. the ice mocha was nicely balanced, the flat white was quite strong. will come back again next time when we visit hamilton.

came here thinking it was going to be a wonderful experience.
had poached fruit and now feel very sick. the flavours were too heavy so will not have that again. coffee and service was good though.

very pleased with my visit to scotts epicurean this past saturday, we took a seat an ordered our food. 
my partner got the healthy breakfast with hummus and pesto, and i got the poached fruit with granola and yoghurt. we were both pleased with our breakfasts and i absolutely loved the pesto that came with my partner's meal. the service was really quick, we had both our meals and coffees within 15minutes. i can't wait to visit again i have been craving some more poached fruit and granola. :)

love the vibes of scotts! their coffees are always great, and food always tastes excellent. their agioli pasta, eggs bene, cakes, bagels... all have tasted amazing. i'm always keen to go to scotts. people are also friendly too! clean and simple yet classy. just be aware it's good quality you're paying for, so definitely go with more $$$ than you may spend at some cheaper cafes.

visited scotts epicurean for the first time today with our extended family. coffee was exceptional and guy behind coffee machine very friendly. however both our waitress and waiter were unfriendly, portions were very small and food average and expensive.
cafe has a lovely ambience but could improve on food and price!

i came here for a quick coffee and salad before going home. i have heard a lot of good things so was excited! i had a flat white (it was average) and a chicken salad (which was also average).. the food took over 30 mins to arrive and the cafe wasn't even busy.

the food was absolutely delicious!
we got the seasonal smoked fish cakes, and the pytti panna. both had a fantastic flavours of smokiness, citrus, and freshness!

staff and service was excellent! very friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant overall is very beautiful.

thank you to the staff for a great day and a wonderful dining experience!

the coffee here used to be amazing, we used to always love it, unfortunately it seems to have gotten much worse lately, very milky and weak tasting, so we have stopped coming now.
the food is quite limited, although pretty nice when we did have something, seems overly fancy.

best cakes in hamilton, hands down! the other dishes here have quite a refreshing take. was looking forward to the pasta which was unfortunately over cooked, but the flavours are good. the crepes were average, nothing to write home about. has a lovely outside garden to sit in on a sunny afternoon! staff are polite and friendly!

this is too overrated tbh, had a pasta but it was too oily. the food is good but i don't think it deserves 4.9 points, even in hamilton where we have a lower standard

came here for lunch during me and my partners trip to blue springs due to the high 4.9 review. i was utterly disappointed with the food and menu options. unlike normal cafes, scotts epicurean does not offer their breakfast and brunch menu at 12. we only had the lunch menu so we chose the moroccan spiced chicken salad (i added mushrooms) and pad thai. the salad did not have enough chicken at all and was mostly just oil and salt. the pad thai is not your typical flavour because the fish sauce is mainly used and it's more spicy than your typical sweet and salty pad thai. the food also took very long to arrive considering the cafe was pretty empty (maybe around 3-5 other people)

we came here yesterday for breakfast due to this cafes high review. in short, we were delighted with the service and little goodies we had devoured. service was impeccable, food was too. i'll definitely be back 🤗
