scott ja-mama's barbecue

went there for the first time and the food was horrible. ribs had little to no meat the baked beans looked like bbcsauceand had a burnt flavor to them. also had pulled pork sandwich that had a weird taste and the entire bun was sopping wet. twice baked potato was dry and the only good thing i can say was that the coleslaw was at least ed able. will never go back!!

not anywhere close to actual barbeque.. i went here last night as i was hoping for some good barbeque in a city far from my native south. i've eaten barbeque in georgia, north carolina, kentucky, south carolina, and just about anywhere possible south of the mason-dixon line.

i was severly dissapointed with scott ja-mama's. i had the pulled pork sandwich with medium flavor sauce. the portion size was impressive however, i didn't even finish it as the flavor was awful. the meat tasted as though it had just been baked without any spices at all. no smokyness, no pepper, no anything. and thesaucewas similar to covering the substandard meat with a can of tomato sauce. my companion had the ribs which had a decent flavor - same tastelesssauce- but were so tough my teeth could barely get the meat off the bone. i will really struggle to ever consider going here again.
