not anywhere close to actual barbeque.. i went here last night as i was hoping for some good barbeque in a city far from my native south. i've eaten barbeque in georgia, north carolina, kentucky, south carolina, and just about anywhere possible south of the mason-dixon line.
i was severly dissapointed with scott ja-mama's. i had the pulled pork sandwich with medium flavor sauce. the portion size was impressive however, i didn't even finish it as the flavor was awful. themeattasted as though it had just been baked without any spices at all. no smokyness, no pepper, no anything. and the sauce was similar to covering the substandardmeatwith a can of tomato sauce. my companion had the ribs which had a decent flavor - same tasteless sauce - but were so tough my teeth could barely get themeatoff the bone. i will really struggle to ever consider going here again.
