a definitive change for every chandigarhite,satvahas a lot to offer. first and foremost, the semi finished interiors done aesthetically with the typical lampshades hanging adds to the decor of the place. however the heavy pillar supports in the middle kind of seem like an unnecessary space occupier. the sitting could have been more, but at the same time, it's perfect as you are sure that it won't get much crowded ever, because you really can't stand and wait for it to get vacant. only the servers be there and the manager who keep roaming from the bar side to the exit.

having visited on a wednesday and a friday, the sufi bands guruz and aavriti respectively ensured that our evenings would be nothing short of musical roller coaster. really hard to tell which one was better.

however, food is bit of a dampener. we ordered chicken seekh kebab, paneer platter, crispy vegetables along with fruit punch, mango mojito, along with regulars like soft drinks, red bull, beer and bailey's. the paneer was not soft enough and crispy vegetables were too salty. it gets little heavy on the pocket considering that you're bound to order quite a lot of stuff while the band showcases their talent, becomes really hard to get up.

would only recommend going on wednesday or friday.

we had veg pizza, non veg pizza, veg nachos. the non veg pizza was good, i was surprised the veg pizza was also as good as the veg pizza with fresh veggies and great quality mozzarella cheese.

the veg nachos were a let down with mashed potatoes covering the nachos, that was unexpected and no one at the table liked them.

overallsatvais good for a party as its interiors are designed in that manner.

a classy and an all time favourite. really love the ambience. a little on the expensive side but i guess thats justified. cheesy tandoori broccoli and drums of heaven are yum. try thesatvaspeciala too

i was insatvafor this weekend.. i had worst experience with the staff there which ruined my entire evening. i liked the place & i am a regular customer ofsatvabut after this experience i am never ever gonna go to that place & also m gonna tell everyone not to visit satva. there are other lounge bars too who have better services. the staff insatvais highly unprofessional & rude. they don't know how to speak with the customer specially mr. vikrant kumar (asst. manager, satva). he needs some lessons in hospitality or else he should be thrown out. he doesn't deserve to be there. he is such a cheap person who is spoiling the reputation of your bar. i had very bad experience & he made the entire situation very embarrassing for me & my friends. the lady at the entrance confirmed us the table but somebody out of the staff told us to move to the other table & we did accordingly but later on the manager came & he said "just leave the table". all of our order was on the table & he was so rude throughout. we were a group of girls, he does't even realize to respect that. there is a way to communicate things & that too when you're into hospitality sector. i don't know who has recruited him, he does not deserve to be there.

was in chandigarh for a day when i visitedsatvaand really enjoyed the live music. the food was really good. hats off to the singer and his band. played really well. would like to visit again!

visitedsatvafor the first time on sunday, and the ambience was electric ! the local band swastik started playing around 10ish, and kept at it till 12. their rendition of vande maatram in honour of independence day was goosebumps inducing and bought the entire room to their feet ! absolutely loved the vibe of the place. will be visiting soon again ! it's a very popular place, attracts a lot of crowd specially on the weekend, so it's best to book a table in advance. special shoutout to the management for their efforts, keep up the awesome work guys !

so it was a couple of weekends ago that i went tosatva- we were four girls. there is a live band on saturday night. here is the summary of my experience:

1.satvastaff and manager need to seriously check their attitude. the manager refused entry, err.. simply without checking that we had made a reservation which was noted in the reservations list right where he was standing. okay, even if there was some misunderstanding - he just refused to even listen to us.
to struggle to enter a place where you have called earlier and made reservations is frustrating.
then, we went downstairs to the lounge. the waiters flatly told us that there was no table. by then, i was laughing out loud at their audacity. eventually, we got a table and the girls enjoyed.

2. the food is average.

3. the prices are high (it being in the sector 26 lane).

4. it is congested (they don't have much space). there is no network as well, since it is in a basement.

5. the bands are good. they sing well, and by the end i saw almost everyone dancing and enjoying.

overall,satvahas only two things going for it - the music and the hoity-toity crowd. minus that, it's an overpriced dungeon so dark that you have to feel your food across the table.

finally found a place in chandigarh that caters to live music lovers. i am personally a big fan of live music andsatvadoes a complete justice to it's hype. the setup, ambience, crowd, bands, everything is just awesome. i don't remember about food or drinks but who care, i got what i wanted andsatvaearned a new permanent fan.

no other place in town can compete this place in food, beverages, music and ambience. talk about saturday night shortlisting several night clubs in town as per the choice of all my friendssatvais the place where everybody says 👌🏻👍🏻 ok let's go. and we never get bored of it.

have been visiting this place for couple of years and i have to admit that true hoteliers know how to maintain good service and food.satvais one place where you can relish your food and enjoy the ambience with soothing live music. best place in town

every time i visit chandigarh, we surely visit this place.
but yesterday was a very disappointing experience.
after two rounds of absolut vodka they cheated us by serving romanov/fuel/some really bad vodka in place of absolut.
we never expected a place likesatvato perform such cheap tricks.
the only good part was that the manager atleast accepted his fault.

wednesday nights with gurnazar atsatva. bliss !
its a really chilled out place with rustic interiors which , for me , are the way places meant to chill should be ! i really dont order food when out for a club night but have tried their non veg platter and paneer tikka and i'll call it okay-ish. not great. but the staff is really cool ! very friendly and lightening fast service ! all in all , a good place to have fun with your friends !

i had already been to buzz and moved out from there at around 12:30 after having my round of drinks and food, still hungry, me and my wife were looking for some option to eat when we some crowd outside mainland china. surprised and thinking it is still serving, we went to check but it was closed. what was open was this place calledsatvain the basement.
the lady outside said there was a cover of 2000 bucks. my wife was not in a mood for that cover since we had already had drinks and food, all we wanted was some noodles to eat. listening to the music, i insisted her to at least check out the place.
so i stood there and thus they allowed her to go down stairs and she came back smiling - an indication that it was my turn. i went in next and i came back even quicker, paid immediately and went back. this was it, this was the place i was looking for.
the atmosphere was rocking, the ambiance was even better and the crowd, superb, mature elite 30+ couples. the place was packed at 12:45 am and it was supposed to open until 02:00, how cool is that, wish delhi could change.
the live band was great, it was so refreshing. food was disappointing though, ordered chilli garlic noodles and they really took the name by heart, it had no vegetables, plain noodles. seriously?
spring rolls were thai rolls, again not something i wanted. chicken tikka was just fine. in fact they were not even ready to serve noodles first, some weird concept, noodles were not allowed there, really?
but then the place definitely rocks. i just wish food could be better though.

i went tosatvawith a friend and took their 499 unlimited snacks offer. we started ok as the staff showed us the seats and quickly placed water and chips on the table. thats all we had for the next 30 minutes - chips. as if they wanted to fill us up before showing the chicken.

we asked about their 1+1 on drinks n settled for a heineken each. when we asked for our second round the waiter told us that since we both had drunk the bottles we both would get heinekens in our second round. it took us quite a bit of cajoling to convince the staff to see our way.

overall the food was average and the drinks issue killed the day.

the live band makes it impossible to have a chat with your friends.
