bbq lover. i love good bbq ribs. the ones i had at satchmos were some of the worst i have ever had. i believe they were boiled before cooked on the grill. i left four of theribson the plate, they were that bad. the smoked beans were good, the tater tots were... well tater tots. my wife had a pork sandwich and ate less than half. so... the cajun food may be good, but do not go there for bbq, that is if you like bbq.

great dry-rub ribs!. husband and i split a full rack (~12 ribs) and two half-sides, coleslaw and sweet potato fries. theseribsare truly among the best we've ever had: thick (thicker than we've ever seen) rib meat, and yet tender and juicy. sugar-rubbed and slow-cooked in a smoker for 7 hours, they have a nice crust and the meat doesn't just fall off the bone, it slides off the bone! (it's more elegant than falling, so effortless and delicious. you don't need teeth!)

bbq sauces -- sweet or spicy -- are offered tableside and at the customer's discretion. the owners here want you to taste the meat first before you sauce up -- they have nothing to hide!

must come back to try the brisket and chicken.

did not expect to find such great cajun/creole food here! theribs& sauces were memorable. one of our "treats" was the special cole slaw, truly memorable. all in our group had differing selections & savored every bite. the dirty rice couln't have been better.

so disappointed. we read the positive reviews and off we went, ready for great ribs. great expectations, dashed! essentially, theribslacked smoky flavor, otherwise they were tender and falling off the bone. also, the pulled pork had no flavor even though it was also tender. we talked to the staff about the lack of smoke flavor and they said theribsare smoked for 4 hours, similar for the pork -- we're not sure why the lack of flavor. we've eaten bbq all over the country and this just doesn't taste authentic. try redbones in somerville, ma.

hard to find - what a gem.ribswere fall off the bone tender. sweet potatoes fries so good. liked the red beans and rice. we split a meal then ordered a 1/2 of jambalaya. everything great. owner even suggested another local place for dessert. i advise: order a bottle of the house rest wine really good also a large selection of local beers. very family oriented and low key.

pleasant surprise. don't let strip mall vibe deceive you... cool atmosphere and awesome grub.ribs& sweet sauce. with a hop smash beer was awesome!

this is the best barbeque in flagstaff. theribsare incredible and the beef sandwich is great. although the price may seem steep it is worth every penny. my only complaint is that there is no cornbread.

ribs. my wife has to eat gluten free and the owner, jamie is very aware of gluten free dining. yheribswere terrific and the sides were good.
