good food. eaten here a few times and the food is good (especially the ribs) and sweet potatoe fries but a lil pricey in my opinion. tucked out of the way.

they know their food, blend their own spices(some of which they smoke too), with which they dry rub and smoke, succulent, fall off the bone, ribs. nice selection of very cold drafts in frosted glasses. killer po'boys and jambalaya. get the side of smoked beans. the gumbo is on the light side for my taste. you'll leave happy.

was really looking forward to this place, but it was over priced for the quantity of food you were given. also the flavor for the brisket was not very good. one highlight was the jambalaya, but it is not enough to bring me back or recommend it.

hard to find - what a gem. ribs were fall off the bone tender. sweet potatoes fries so good. liked the red beans and rice. we split a meal then ordered a 1/2 of jambalaya. everything great. owner even suggested another local place for dessert. i advise: order a bottle of the house rest wine really good also a large selection of local beers. very family oriented and low key.

not bad, but being from texas it's hard to impress me. but i will say, best brisket i've had out side of the long star state!

pleasant surprise. don't let strip mall vibe deceive you... cool atmosphere and awesome grub. ribs & sweet sauce. with a hop smash beer was awesome!

this is the best barbeque in flagstaff. the ribs are incredible and the beef sandwich is great. although the price may seem steep it is worth every penny. my only complaint is that there is no cornbread.

satchmo's is amazing. one of my top 5 favorite restaurants in town. hidden, thankfully away from downtown too. the pulled pork and brisket is super tender and flavorful. their sauces are perfect too. can't beat the sides. seasoned tots, beans, coleslaw are my favorites. friendly people and a clean inviting atmosphere. i love this place!

ribs. my wife has to eat gluten free and the owner, jamie is very aware of gluten free dining. yhe ribs were terrific and the sides were good.

delicious! good music and great food, real authentic bbq. just what we needed after a vacation of burgers and salads. very friendly and informative staff.

great food, great beer. sachmo's has a local beer called the irish red that pairs great with everything bbq. definately make this a stop on your hit list.

great bbq, cole slaw to die for!. i actually know the owner jamie and this does not skew my opinion of the food whatsoever. it's downright great bbq. he's got a lot of passion and it shows. the cole slaw is absolutely amazing and the sweet potato fries absolutely yummy. pulled pork sandwich was tasty but a mix of the sweet and spicy sauce seals the deal. my husband loved the jumbalaya also. i am yet to be disappointed. and love the theme...

the most boring bbq i ever had. after all the hype i have read about this place, tried on my way through town. it was so tasteless, i couldn't believe a bun full of beef could produce such an empty flavor. might as well have served the bun with nothing in it. totally wasted $9 for a single sandwich. over hyped and overpriced.

bbq done right. don't judge an eatery by its looks, this place is great! the pulled pork and beef sandwiches are great, a good balance of smoky and tenderness. the sweet sauce is good but the spicy sauce is better, just the right amount of kick but not overpowering the meat. the gumbo was good but i prefer the jambalaya. i also had the chance to talk with jamie, the man is passionate about his bbq and that's exactly the man that you want watching the pit.
