santa's fantasea has always been amazing. i had been to their kolkata salt lake outlet. so, when it was opened in guwahati, visited it a couple of times. their bamboo biryani is a must try. apart from that, baans pora chicken/mutton, soru chakli, variousseafoodwere awesome. jhupu pisi's mutton is also a unique dish to try out. lava gosth mutton is awesome. we also tried a kheer, tilhou kheer, prepared from onion , and it was lip smacking. overall, santa's fantasea , with its wide variety of items and beautiful interiors, is a must visit.

orderedseafoodfried rice worth ₹300+/portion, they sent plain rice coated with ghee, and a red spicy curry which had maximum of 2 prawns cut into a billion pieces, and the curry was 70% oil. what a rip off, haven't tried their other dishes though, don't know for sure if i'd want to

santa fantasea, situated in zoo tiniali, is a restaurant which servesseafoodpredominantly.

the place has bright blue interiors, with wallpapers of cartoom fish all around, something which is not at all appealing. this probably is the only negative aspect of this restaurant.

the waiter who served us was friendly and overall the service was great.

the menu has numerous offerings with prawn, octopus, squid, crab, and lobster being the main attractions.

we tried the oyster chilli basil octopus, sanghai squid, beijingseafoodrice noodles, and steamed prawn momos.

the octopus was really tasty and the squid was outstanding. the momos were really juicy and delicious. the rice noodles could have done with a bit more flavor though.

overall, the experience was an amazing and a unique one. so if you are craving some lip-smackingseafooddishes, head out to santa fantasea and satisfy your cravings!

the only place where all kinds of sea food is made available to you... if you are fond ofseafood... you should try visiting this place... well the ambience itsemf gives you the feeling of visting aseafoodrestaurant... its fully painted blue with some painting of sea animals... well tried the octopus.... it was my first time trying octopus so i have no comments about how it must actually taste like but personally speaking i didn't really like the taste... and i wish they could cook it more properly... shanghai crab was so tasty it was big enough and very meaty inside and tasted great... really like the crispy fried prawn and love the sauce they served along with it.... sea food malaysian rice didnt taste good... the appearance itself green in color

this place is a heaven for sea-food lovers. they have squids, mackarel, crab, octopus and what not. and the best thing about here is that the prices are very very moderate. i mean you get octopus for ₹360 and that's really reasonable.

the interiors are really pretty. it's just blue and blue and all kinds of fishes and sharks drawn on them. it's like you are in an aquarium or something.

the food was perfect. on spot. quantity was perfect for the price and the taste was amazing. the manager suggested us to have theseafoodbeijing noodles, seafoodmalaysian rice and chilly basil oyester sauce octopus. i had octopus for the very first time and i really loved it. it tastes like prawn just more rubberier and more smelly. the chilly basil oyester sauce was a delight. sweet and savoury and a bit hot. it was perfect. for ₹360 they served us three medium octopusus and i was just sold there. the noodles had ample amount of squids and prawns and was really tasty. i didn't like the rice much but it's really a personal thing. my friends loved the rice.

the manager was very friendly and humble. he explained to us all the dishes and his heritage. and asked us to visit them again. constantly took our feedback, asked us if we need anything else. the vibe of the place was really nice and i really want to visit them soon.

if you are aseafoodfanatic, then santa fantasea is to your rescue.
it offers full value to your money.
we tried prawn momo, squids, beijing rice noodles oyester chilli octopus and bamboo biryani.
the staffs were friendly and offered us with details of every dishes as we were confused.
if you are allergic toseafoodthen don't worry. bamboo biryani is a must try for you all. unlike other places serving biryani, the meat was well cooked and actually had "meat"
i'm surely trying other dishes back here again.

probably it's the only proper sea food restaurant in guwahati. they do have a vast array of sea food items like prawns, mackerel, octopus, squid, lobsters etc. schewan pepper octopus, malaysianseafoodrice noodles were very nice.
they also have various other items like mutton n chicken.
overall ambience is very nice and catchy with nice decor with various animation of fishes.
service and staffs are very helpful and friendly.
food is moderately expensive but quantity is good and quality is quite good.
overall a good place to visit.

i am fond of sea food. and it's hard to find an outlet serving sea food out here in guwahati. i am so glad to find this place. first of all the ambience was beautiful.you can see the color blue everywhere.and that's my favorite color as well.loved their hospitality cause they were enquiring off about the food quality, about their service etc.i tried outseafoodbeijing noodles(spicy) and wine chilli king fish. i personally loved this combo as it was totally going with my taste buds. noodles were so thin and perfect. yes how can i forget about my dessert! tried out this new place. had always been fascinated byseafoodand was thrilled to finally have a place here that specialises in that.
about the interiors-- it's not a huge place but definitely a nice, cozy, well lit hall with wallpapers depicting sea creatures. it's not bad but maybe a couple of live aquariums will add a zing to the interiors, i feel.
the staff--the staff was very polite, always willing to help and always smiling. the manager even brought forth a jumbo lobster for us as we requested to have a view of it. full marks for hospitality.
the food- we ordered their malaysianseafoodrice which had a few chunks of squid, a few prawns & some fish. it tasted good.
the schezwan pepper octopus was quite an experience. octopus has a unique taste & my first foray with it was quite interesting.
the smoked crab was the pick of the lot. crabs don't have much meat but whatever you manage to eke out is just gold!
the steamed prawn momos were ok but that's just it, nothing extravagant about it.
overall, i found the place a must visit for anyone who has an appetite for the high seas. there's still much scope for improvement but i'm willing to give it another try soon for the remainder of the menu. actually i wanted to rate it 4.5* but zomato isn't a fan of fractions so sticking to 4. best wishes for the team!
