santa fantasea, situated in zoo tiniali, is a restaurant which serves seafood predominantly.

theplacehas bright blue interiors, with wallpapers of cartoom fish all around, something which is not at all appealing. this probably is the only negative aspect of this restaurant.

the waiter who served us was friendly and overall the service was great.

the menu has numerous offerings with prawn, octopus, squid, crab, and lobster being the main attractions.

we tried the oyster chilli basil octopus, sanghai squid, beijing seafood rice noodles, and steamed prawn momos.

the octopus was really tasty and the squid was outstanding. the momos were really juicy and delicious. the rice noodles could have done with a bit more flavor though.

overall, the experience was an amazing and a unique one. so if you are craving some lip-smacking seafood dishes, head out to santa fantasea and satisfy your cravings!

the onlyplacewhere all kinds of sea food is made available to you... if you are fond of seafood ... you should try visiting this place... well the ambience itsemf gives you the feeling of visting a seafood restaurant... its fully painted blue with some painting of sea animals... well tried the octopus.... it was my first time trying octopus so i have no comments about how it must actually taste like but personally speaking i didn't really like the taste... and i wish they could cook it more properly... shanghai crab was so tasty it was big enough and very meaty inside and tasted great... really like the crispy fried prawn and love the sauce they served along with it.... sea food malaysian rice didnt taste good... the appearance itself green in color

the service was the best thing about this place. also i like the seafoody kinda ambience. theplacegives you major wooden furniture goals. i like the simplicity in their interiors. coming to the food, it was not so great. but i had a good time with my friends and also trying the seafoods was fun. overall my experience was good.

thisplaceis very very tasty food.
we had bamboo shoot biryani which was very tasty.
burnt chilli chicken and honey chilli prawns were super were delicious.
the soru chakli (it's very soft roti, white in colour) and the keema chicken were very tasty too.
overall the food was very authentic and tasty.
must visit for foodies

the onion kheer was not that great. i felt it was overpriced at 150₹

had kingfisher ultra beer. very reasonable drink prices.

the staff was very polite and nice. hence 4stars

theplaceis so bright and aqua that it might just bring in a little bit of discomfort as you see the pretty cartoon fishes all over the walls while biting into one of them in real!
however the food was more than average:
the bansa pora chicken was juicy and well cooked.. but had a lot of punjabi masalas which should not have been the case.. as it takes away from the smoky bamboo flavour that it should actually deliver
the crispy leaf mackarel was delish. cooked right and high on the flavours
the black bean crab was tasty .. the sauce was great tasting, however they did not provide with the adequate cutlery to de-shell the crab and we had to rely on our teeth which can be dangerous and messy
the malaysian sea food fried rice was just bad! it was oily and tasted very like pudina rice.. there was good portion of sea food in it.. however there is a big scope of improvement with this dish !

my friends and i went to thisplacea couple days back, and i guess it was a bad experience for all of us. we ordered for prawn momos, squid fry, and some mongolian chicken starter. and believe me when i say, all we got was cornflour on our plates. just cornflour. we struggled to find prawns, squids or the meat in everything but in vain. we even complained to the manager, but all he could say us, "we serve it this way only." we were so disappointed we left without having the main course which we did plan for. i dont know if it was our bad day or theirs, but we did felt kind of let down. hopefully they work on their game cos the menu has great potential.

thisplaceis a heaven for sea-food lovers. they have squids, mackarel, crab, octopus and what not. and the best thing about here is that the prices are very very moderate. i mean you get octopus for ₹360 and that's really reasonable.

the interiors are really pretty. it's just blue and blue and all kinds of fishes and sharks drawn on them. it's like you are in an aquarium or something.

the food was perfect. on spot. quantity was perfect for the price and the taste was amazing. the manager suggested us to have the seafood beijing noodles, seafood malaysian rice and chilly basil oyester sauce octopus. i had octopus for the very first time and i really loved it. it tastes like prawn just more rubberier and more smelly. the chilly basil oyester sauce was a delight. sweet and savoury and a bit hot. it was perfect. for ₹360 they served us three medium octopusus and i was just sold there. the noodles had ample amount of squids and prawns and was really tasty. i didn't like the rice much but it's really a personal thing. my friends loved the rice.

the manager was very friendly and humble. he explained to us all the dishes and his heritage. and asked us to visit them again. constantly took our feedback, asked us if we need anything else. the vibe of theplacewas really nice and i really want to visit them soon.

probably it's the only proper sea food restaurant in guwahati. they do have a vast array of sea food items like prawns, mackerel, octopus, squid, lobsters etc. schewan pepper octopus, malaysian seafood rice noodles were very nice.
they also have various other items like mutton n chicken.
overall ambience is very nice and catchy with nice decor with various animation of fishes.
service and staffs are very helpful and friendly.
food is moderately expensive but quantity is good and quality is quite good.
overall a goodplaceto visit.

tried out this new place. had always been fascinated by seafood and was thrilled to finally have aplacehere that specialises in that.
about the interiors-- it's not a hugeplacebut definitely a nice, cozy, well lit hall with wallpapers depicting sea creatures. it's not bad but maybe a couple of live aquariums will add a zing to the interiors, i feel.
the staff--the staff was very polite, always willing to help and always smiling. the manager even brought forth a jumbo lobster for us as we requested to have a view of it. full marks for hospitality.
the food- we ordered their malaysian seafood rice which had a few chunks of squid, a few prawns & some fish. it tasted good.
the schezwan pepper octopus was quite an experience. octopus has a unique taste & my first foray with it was quite interesting.
the smoked crab was the pick of the lot. crabs don't have much meat but whatever you manage to eke out is just gold!
the steamed prawn momos were ok but that's just it, nothing extravagant about it.
overall, i found theplacea must visit for anyone who has an appetite for the high seas. there's still much scope for improvement but i'm willing to give it another try soon for the remainder of the menu. actually i wanted to rate it 4.5* but zomato isn't a fan of fractions so sticking to 4. best wishes for the team!
