the was delight. the staff friendly. although, the zomato gold was not really buy 1 take 1. they have different one where you can pick from three meats available. nonetheless, the food was superb.

i visit bgc weekly and i always see this place before but i never had the urge to dine here. when i availed zg and saboten was included, i then had the chance to try it here...and i was addicted. i also love the fact that they serve the cabbage salad first and it makes the waiting so much better. i've been here about 4 times already and planning to visit again since i love their food.

my favorite is their "shrimp-fry set" and i always, always order this; creamy, delicious shrimp. their sesame dressing is also better than y.

there is no "lugi" when dining here especially when you have zomato gold. i just recommend that they include fruits, brown rice, wasabi dressing and an option to have the curry spicy.

the rules of the deal were a bit tricky, it gave me an impression that im paying for same if i try to complete the set meal. the cabbage is not unlimited, they will refill it twice (i think)

i’ve been visiting saboten every week for the past 3 years. my brother loves the rolls and my dad likes the shabu shabu. this is probably my favorite katsu place, staff even know our family already 😂. saboten always serves quality food. for drinks try the highball with karaage, it will not disappoint.

used zomato gold for dinner. definitely value for money. tonkatsu was superb. service is very good. enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back

good katsu sets, good service. however, their 1+1 on food doesn't apply to katsu sets. they've changed their policy so the sets can't be availed for the +1 anymore. the free is just for katsu alone, and you need to add a little under p300 if you want the refillable rice and veggies to go with it.

i remember the place more than the food. it's just like yabu, can't really tell the difference between these places because they serve practically the same dishes and they all taste the same to me. no resto has stood out yet, unfortunately. but i remember this resto because it has nice interiors. service was ok, can be improved.

food was awesome. always wanted to try here because of the high rating from zomato. well deserved. they placed us in the more private section for i have a toddler and an infant... very considerate. service was great! the family enjoyed it! even though the 1+1 on food for the gold member is just for the limited ala carte menu. still 5 stars for me. definitely going to eat here again.

starting off to say i love saboten. i love the food and the service. staff is attentive and quick to fulfill orders and refills. when i found out they were on zomato gold, i was really excited. since then, eating st saboten has become sort of a default; a no-brainer. i’m just here to express that i was disappointed that they’ve changed their terms.

instead of being able to order a large loin set for instance and order the same as the plus one, they have come up with an ala carte menu for the plus one for zomato gold. the ala carte comes with just the katsu. unlimited rice is an additional php 100, unlimited rice with soup and sides at an additional php 220. correct me if i’m wrong but it comes down to just php 100 in savings, not a true 1+1 deal on food.

i’ll continue to eat at saboten, albeit not as often as i used to and i’ll eat with less joy than i used to :(

happy set meal all the time!!! the only downside is there are few choices for the 1+1 promo.✌🏻 else, the food, place, staff are all good! worth a visit!!

great food and service! will surely comeback here. loved their tsuki set, claypot, and tenderloin set! also, we were able to use zomato gold on our order. we got 2 free ala carte of tenderloin!

my team tried to eat here for dinner. the staff were accommodating. the food were freshly served. it's a nice place to do casual/formal gatherings.

all time fave japanese resto! 💖 food is yummy and served its price. now that i can avail thru zomato gold, the more i want to eat here more often! their staff were polite, nice, and accommodating. our stay has been comfy because they make sure all your needs are being attended. 😊

the food was really great! even my 2yo son loved their karaage :) i especially like how friendly their staff is. definitely coming back when there's a chance. :)

this place feels like you are in yabu. it has the same setup and a bit similar menu. the food tastes nice but it is a bit pricey. the taste of the fried dishes are similar to yabu. the shabu shabu they served was a bit lacking on taste. their green tea ice cream stood out among all the dishes. we went to the place in a busy hour. their service was a bit slow due to the queues of requests from the customers.
