the good:

- i ordered the mixed set composed of a deep fried shrimp, 300g of tenderloin and crab cream croquette. super love the croquette and the shrimp!
- i enjoyed the super fresh cabbage.
- theplaceis great. it is nicely decorated, semi-japanese feel.
- fortunate enough to arrive exactly 6pm. we were able to be seated immediately. after we finished eating, quite a long waiting line outside.

the bad:

- service is quite slow. one of the waiters is quite rude actually. he tried to clean up my plate while my wife is still eating. when i asked him to wait until my wife is done, i saw him make a face. however, other servers were nice and accommodating.

- food plating is sloppy. see picture for proof.
- maybe they should increase the 300g tenderloin included in the mixed set.

the plus:

- it is zomato gold particpant. hence, you get to save in your bill. we only paid 480 pesos for 2 mixed set. such a great deal!

as always food here was very delicious. great service from the employees even though theplacewas packed. the tenderloin katsu was very good.

food was good. katsu was cooked well and the service was fast. it is worth my money and will definitely go visit thisplaceagain. i love the katsu sauce as it was not too thick!

zomato gold user and saboten is very sulit! we are very full,placeis very neat and lighting is very warm for the eyes. food is always good and i have nothing much to say because saboten has always been one of my favorites! next time we will try the shabu shabu!

servers are attentive and they're always making rounds so i never wait long for lettuce/rice refill, bull, water, etc. theplaceis always clean, too.

the food is good. i always just get the tenderloin set. other than that, can't say much about it.

saboten is my and my husband's favorite go-toplacefor birthdays and anniversaries. the dining experience is always superb. servings are generous and the food quality is consistent. our personal favorites are the crab croquettes and cabbage salad with sesame dressing which are so addicting. we also love the inviting ambience and clean sofas & tables. the staff is also friendly and attentive to our needs. we'll definitely come back again and again.

the 130g mille-feuille is soft and crunchy at the same time. it's soo good and filling!

set meals include shredded cabbage, rice, miso soup and the delicious pickles. thumbs up to the friendly and accomodating staff.

very similar to yabu, but their location is in a nice environment.placeis comfortable and food service is okay, recommended for family dining.

i visit bgc weekly and i always see thisplacebefore but i never had the urge to dine here. when i availed zg and saboten was included, i then had the chance to try it here...and i was addicted. i also love the fact that they serve the cabbage salad first and it makes the waiting so much better. i've been here about 4 times already and planning to visit again since i love their food.

my favorite is their "shrimp-fry set" and i always, always order this; creamy, delicious shrimp. their sesame dressing is also better than y.

there is no "lugi" when dining here especially when you have zomato gold. i just recommend that they include fruits, brown rice, wasabi dressing and an option to have the curry spicy.

i remember theplacemore than the food. it's just like yabu, can't really tell the difference between these places because they serve practically the same dishes and they all taste the same to me. no resto has stood out yet, unfortunately. but i remember this resto because it has nice interiors. service was ok, can be improved.

my team tried to eat here for dinner. the staff were accommodating. the food were freshly served. it's a niceplaceto do casual/formal gatherings.

thisplacefeels like you are in yabu. it has the same setup and a bit similar menu. the food tastes nice but it is a bit pricey. the taste of the fried dishes are similar to yabu. the shabu shabu they served was a bit lacking on taste. their green tea ice cream stood out among all the dishes. we went to theplacein a busy hour. their service was a bit slow due to the queues of requests from the customers.

saboten offers an alternative to yabu but just my personal taste, yabu is still better in terms of food quality, ambience, and attentiveness to customer needs. in here, you have to call the service staff’s attention several times if you ask for refill of rice or cabbage. sometimes, they seem to forget what you asked for so you have to repeat your request. over all a goodplaceto satisfy your pork cutlet cravings
