the view is great, the steaks not so much. seriously, asteakdrowning in butter? who does that.
my wife and i are from moore, oklahoma. when we recently came in on the 4th of july our hotel was near the ruth's chris steakhouse in arlington. we stopped in to see what all the raves and reviews were about. we left wondering the same thing. the view at the airport was great, thesteakwas murdered and came to our table in a puddle of its own grease and butter. the pureed spinach was obscenely prepared and void of any flavor. the salads were good, and my macaroni and cheese was adequate, but my son's chicken was flavorless and he complained of dryness.
we ate our food, and enjoyed the spectacular view of dca, but as far as quality steaks go, we did not find them at ruth's chris steakhouse. a $150 dollar tab at any steakhouse in oklahoma would have yielded asteakthat far surpasses the meat that made its way to my table at your restaurant. my wife said it best when she said, "i can't believe we paid $50 for asteakthat was golden corral quality, that poor animal was displayed in such a sorry form too. i mourn the cows that get their meat shipped out there to be slaughtered twice."
here is a pro-tip, if you are in this part of the country enjoy the seafood. if you want a realsteakc'mon down to oklahoma and we will get you better quality meat for a quarter of the price.
