russell's restaurant

great finish to wine tasting. we went to russell's for dinner following an afternoon of woodinville wine tasting. it's very conveniently located and discount coupons for a meal are available at many tasting rooms.

we had heard great things and ourexperiencedidn't disappoint. the ambience is casual yet upscale, the wine selection very solid, and the meal amazing. i ordered duck and it was absolutely fabulous. the service was superior as well. we highly recommend russell's!

wow!!! i have never had such an excellent dining experience. though we arrived late in the evening and the main restaurant appeared closed, the manager and his staff set a very romantic fireside table for my wife and me. the service was not like anything we had ever experienced. the staff were pleasant and curtious. not once did my coffee or water see the bottom of the cup or glass before it was topped up. the food - appetizer, soup, and main dish - were perfect in every way. an absolute pleasureful evening, so much so, we decided to stay another evening in bothell just toexperiencerussell's again!

best food in bothell, period.. i can't tell you how happy i was to stumble upon russell's in bothell. i used to have to drive to bellevue to find any fine dining establishments.

i haven't had a bad meal at russell's and i think i know why, you can really tell that russell uses the freshest and best ingredients possible. my favorite appetizer by far is the beef carpaccio. perfectly seasoned with a drizzle of olive oil, lemon, parmesan, capers, salt, pepper and incredibly tender flavorful beef. the sautéed prawns are also a favorite. for an entree the new bedford seared scallops with beurre blanc and wild mushroom risotto is an excellent choice. the scallops just melt in your mouth and the risotto is perfectly cooked.

the staff at russell's is very attentive and friendly and russell is there every night to make sure your diningexperienceis a good one. check russell's out, you won't be sorry!

unbelievable experience. dinner at russell's surpassed all expectations from my invitation to "the barn." the setting is exquisite, the barn, actually a beautifully appointed restaurant , is an oasis in the middle of the business district. my dinner included grilled scallops and a delicate stuffed sole to die for! the upper level of the barn is a spiritualexperiencewith beautiful open beams and gleeming wood floors. the service, setting, and cuisine all make for an incrediblly delightful experience, soon to be repeated!
