it's pretty quiet early on a weeknight. we were the only table until 6:15 but the service was prompt and friendly.

we were famished so we got 2 pizzas between the 2 of us, which turned out to be doable. their pizza is thin crust so wasn't too bready and filling. we got a tomato based sausage pizza that was on special and the whitebasedella casa pizza. the pizzas came one after another.

the tomato based pizza was delicious but a little wet at the centre. the whitebasepizza was delicious. generous with toppings and fresh ingredients. the mozzarella they use is stringy, springy and delicious.
both pizza's crust was nicely charred and crispy.

we'll definitely come back again!

really good pizza here! thinbaseand puffy crusts, they also have vegan options. i ordered the vegetarian pizza which was yum, i think i would probably get a spicy/salami option next time.

traditional and authentic italian pizza, and possibly the best in sydney.

claimed to have rested their pizza dough for up to 72 hour, the result? abasethat's crispy on the surface and soft in the center. coupled with generous portions of cheese and fresh ingredients,this is pizza at its best. our favorite was the diovola and if you're adventurous asked for their legitimately spicy chilli oil; you have been warned.

our only let down was attention to detail. they could have served our whitebasepizza before the tomato base, but that's very picky of us.

of note, if you prefer thick pizzabase(e.g. arthur's pizza) or crispy and thin crust (e.g. made in italy) then this may not be the place for you. also checkin with their friendly staff prior to making a spontaneous visit because this place is popular.

1) it's byo 2) their pizza is bomb diggity! thinbasewith a crispy crust, soft melting pizza with fresh and tasty toppings, not to mention it came out super fast and piping hot 3) its not in the city, but it's close enough that you can see the city. go here with your girlfriends with a few bottles of wine before a night out in the city. the waiters are cute ;)

had a few different pizzas from rosso and yet to be disappointed. often make my own pizza dough and its certainly worth proving the dough for at least a day. the extended prove is the trademark for rosso and it makes for a pizza that let's the toppings take centre stage with no over full feeling at the end. great tomato saucebasealso. yum!

we visited rosso pomodoro this evening for some pizza and drinks. i called an hour before visiting the store for a booking and we were given a table for the three of us.

we ordered the margherita classica, diavola and the special- rustichella. all three pizzas were great! traditional pizza with a crispbaseand crust with top quality toppings. the pizzas came out fast too! the restaurant was packed albeit 2 empty tables but we got our pizzas within 7 minutes!

staff are also very friendly and warm. awesome pizza place!

went here tonight based on reviews. pizza was not that great. first our bases were very soggy, second there is hardly a trace of cheese on the pizza! what's a pizza if you can't taste the cheese. one huge issue was there was a hair in my pizza, showed the waitress, she seemed shocked but didn't say anything, she took my plate and gave me a new plate. no apologies from anyone about the hair. than we ordered nutella pizza. thebasewas so thin and over cooked that it was crunchy like potato chips. every single piece. would not waste my time going here again! highly disappointed.

soggy crust. given the hype, dinner here was a real disappointment. the pizza'sbasewas soggy and the ambience....well, lets just say it reminded me of university dining... won't be back.

disappointing. eagerly anticipated trying what has been labelled as sydney's best pizza restaurant. sadly, we found the pizzas lacking in flavour and thebasequite soggy after a few minutes. coffee and service was good but that was about it :(

very good pizza. i won't say it's the best pizza in sydney, it's definitely not. but it's damn good and runs rings around most pizzerias. the toppings are delicious - at the time of writing this i think i've tried 10 of them - and thebaseis always subtle and done extremely well in what i would describe as northern italian style (i believe the owners are from the emilia-romagna region, although could be wrong). the location is nice, off the beaten track and the staff are lovely. and from memory it's byo. what more could a pizza-lover want?

best pizza in sydney. this is probably one of my favourite restaurants. its authentic pizza and thebaseis amazing. the outstanding dish is actually dessert... the nutella pizza is out of this world!!!!! the only bad thing i could say is that its sometimes hard to get a table cause its always packed.... the price is also fantastic, never usually pay more than $25 each time i go with a few friends...

the best pizza i've had in sydney. quality toppings rather than quantity. like any good bread the perfectbasewas a glorious combination of soft and chewy with crispness.

if you love your pizzas simple with a thin and crispy pizzabasethen this place is for you. unfortunately, it's hard to get a table and to find a park even on a weekday, so to avoid disappointment you better book or you'll be sorry.

by far my favorite restaraunt ever! great, unique tasting food. if you ever consider going here, it's well worth your money. my only complaint is that thebaseof the pizzas are a quite floppy and it causes the toppings to fall off.
