we have been coming here for years. yes, the acoustics are poor and the service is usually rushed (but still friendly) - because they are always full up, which is clearly a good sign anyway, so thank your lucky stars you got a seat.
dunno about the pasta - we never get past the fabulously authentic napoli-style pizzas, with their fresh and rich ingredients.

couldn't agree with carly (below) more. this place is the bomb. even the over-the-top, garish 80s decor is easily subsumed by the epic authentic sourdough pizza from ketty and the team. simply amazeballs. would be great if they invested in some pumping sounds but even that's a bit harsh, may not be everyone's cup of tea but i personally like the ode to italian folk music and stevie g. xx

yummy!! everything is served fresh and hot! the place is very small though, you can hear the other tables talking and you need to talk loud to make yourself heard. good for family and groups.

base is awesome!! we had this for the first tine last night - fungi and prosciutto iberico. pick up is quite the challenge with parking but so worth it !! i want to try the truffle one you read about - will be back to eat in next time :)

nutella calzone is their signature desert, and rightly so very tasty. i strongly recommend this place, very casual and relaxed atmosphere

i simply cannot rate rosso pomodoro highly enough. authentic and completely mind-blowingly great pizzas (simple traditional combinations, no menu changes and ultimately: damn fantastic), beautiful italian produce across the entire menu including delish antipasto options and great wine too.
i'd eat here every day if i could.
one of my all time favourite dinner spots in sydney. if you haven't been, you're seriously missing out.
make sure to book. this place is popular for a reason.

the only problem is if you need the toilet because you have to go outside and walk around the building, which is annoying. but the good authentic food makes up for this lack.

booked for a saturday night so we could try their truffle pizza. staff were friendly and service was quick and efficient. antipasto platter we had to start was delicious, especially their homemade breadsticks. prosciutto pizza had a lovely thin crisp crust and the san daniele prosciutto was sweet and flavoursome. truffle was a delicious addition, $15 for 5 grams.

it's only a small restaurant so it's bit of a tight fit and not much space between tables. wait for food was minimal which was a plus. great for a quick dinner, but it's byo so if you want to enjoy an intimate dinner as well you can.

i'd return to try their other pizzas, but only if i was in the area.

oh my goodness this place is soooo good! the ingredients are so ridiculously fresh that even the most basic and simple things taste divine!! 😍 we ordered the bruschetta which came out absolutely overflowing with tomatoes, and this was so simple but so delicious. every bite was fresh and clean and juicy. they had no vegan salads on the menu (go figure) but were more than happy to accommodate and replaced the parmesan with a generous serving of the juicy tomatoes. ahh, love! honestly, i have never enjoyed a salad this much in my life. 😜

there are 4 vegan pizzas on the menu, with vegan cheese ❤, so we went with the one with most variety of toppings - vega riana. this too was delightful, i think because the crust is so good anything they make will be top-notch, but i preferred the simple bruschetta. just by a tiny bit!

service was also really great and helpful, so it was an all round lovely dinner. would recommend this place!

one of the better pizza experiences we've ever had in aus. true to italian style - really authentic bases, generous and very high quality toppings (think high end mozzarella and jamon iberico), lovely wait staff and quick service. cannot say enough. very happy customers and will recommend to all of our sydney-bound friends in the future

traditional and authentic italian pizza, and possibly the best in sydney.

claimed to have rested their pizza dough for up to 72 hour, the result? a base that's crispy on the surface and soft in the center. coupled with generous portions of cheese and fresh ingredients,this is pizza at its best. our favorite was the diovola and if you're adventurous asked for their legitimately spicy chilli oil; you have been warned.

our only let down was attention to detail. they could have served our white base pizza before the tomato base, but that's very picky of us.

of note, if you prefer thick pizza base (e.g. arthur's pizza) or crispy and thin crust (e.g. made in italy) then this may not be the place for you. also checkin with their friendly staff prior to making a spontaneous visit because this place is popular.

great pizza restaurant and always a favourite with our friends as well. pizza and salads very reasonably priced and awesome quality. nice to be able to bring wine and no corkage. staff are always friendly and we try and learn some more italian each time we dine. need to book and the place goes off so can be noisy - enjoy.

sunday evening and we're both feeling lazy to cook so we tried hard to find a nice wood fire pizza place and voilà, comes rosso pomodoro. the pizza dough is thin and light. it's wood fired and tasty too. let's face it, you can't make. margherita pizza anymore than it is but this was nice! i'll recommend this venue 100%
