my daughter and me had lunch yesterday ..the soup was lousy couldn't eat it but still had to pay for it..won't go back..not friendly people.

unique food with fresh ingredients cooked daily. a++

great food and staff. every time i visit i am surprised how friendly everyone on the staff greats you from the time you enter the restaurant until you leave. food is always wonderful. if anything is wrong, which is rare, the staff will do anything to make it right.

favorite restaurant in western pa. the food is amazing. we are very comfortable taking business execs there as well as out of town guests for the excellent shrimp, steak and gnocchi. great atmosphere for date night, family dining, and/or happy hour. love wednesday's spaghetti night! yum

great happy hour!. this is one of my favorite spots in forest hills. i especially love their happy hour. they have great food, and an awesome variety of beer and cocktails. its def a spot that everyone needs to give a try. you wont be disappointed.

good meal. we had the prime rib and it was very good, well seasoned and nice and tender. we will be back to try other things. they have a great beer selection, too.

the service, atmosphere and the food is all very inviting they really make u feel wanted and at home and the use the freshest of vegetables, meats, seafood and each dish is made with expertise planning. thanks for the great dining experience!!!

roman bistro - great restaurant. great restaurant, great food, pleasant atmosphere. nice place for a quiet intimate dinner or to meet with friends in the bar area for a little livlier fun. my first visit to the roman bistro yesterday. terriffic menu.the food was great, the waiting staff was tops. good service and very friendly. we had plenty to eat, plenty of time to talk with each other without a lot of noise and not having the feeling of being rushed. so much to choose from on the menu, we knew from the beginning we would have to come back to try some of the other choices. a definite 10+ and we will be back!

great local place. love the outside patio seating. the beet salad is my favorite.

would recomend. i planned a wedding shower at roman bistro recently and there was confusion regarding which room the event would be held. the confusion came from communicating with multiple staff members for finalizing the results of the event. i have to admit i was very frustrated. when the owner, mike roman was made aware of the problem he immediately contacted me to offer alternative accommodations for the event. i know that sometimes things don't always go right but it takes a good business person to recognize the problem and act on it. i really appreciated the alternative we were given. the bride and the guests were all very impressed with the food and the staff. thank you to drew and lauren for making everyone feel comfortable and to the management staff for going above and beyond. i know many of our guests commented they would be stopping there again. thank you all again for making our day so special.

great local bistro. we have been going to roman bistro since the week it opened. we always enjoy the great food and fine service. we have taken many friends and family there and they have always been impressed.

brunch was pleasant. the brunch selection was a very pleasant experience. the chef making omelets was yelling his services every 5 minutes (big turnoff), but the buffet was nicely done, food was tasty and warm and reasonablly priced. if they raise the buffet price, then go elsewhere. brunch also offered $3 mimosas and $4 bloody marys, which were very inconsistent (very different colors) when delivered. pretty much the word here - inconsistent. service was adequate for coffee refills, nut not impressive.

classy neighborhood type bistro. love the place cause it doesn't take itself too seriously while offering a varied, changing menu with usually good, fresh ingredients. good, friendly service. very good hummus appetizer. stuffed pepper was a little too spicy for me. had excellent branzino that rivaled some i've had at expensive places i've taken clients to. wine selection just ok. overall it is a classy, unpretentious neighborhood type bistro.

not great, we have gone there several times over the last 2 years. after our experience last night it reminds me why we do not go there often. the service is absolutely lacking professional touches. you hear way too much screaming from the kitchen. the young manager out front acted like we bothered him when we complained about the calamari which was like rubber & sauce was burned. fish sandwich was raw and lobster macaroni & cheese was dry. it is lent and they cannot cook fish sandwich. last time we were there you could smell the swordfish from the parkway. so inconsistent we will not be back, a better chance with drew's next door.
