rocks on the roof

great snacks and cold beer. great view of the river and what a sight when a container ship comes by. we were here for mid daydrinksand snacks. we had the stake and cheese flat bread. very good like a little pizza. we also had the hunter’s plate, a mixture of salami, prosciutto, pate and cheeses. you better get someone to help you eat this. also had fried green tomatoes and the grilled cheese sandwich. everything was wonderful and the beer was cold.

the views all by itself earns high marks. nice open air roof top restaurant/bar. good selection of drinks, beers, and wines. only stopped fordrinksand takin in the views.

my family and i came here for a birthday celebration and received some of the worst customer service. ourdrinkswere made incorrectly; the manager nick, was adamant that the drink was correct and refused to remake the drink correctly. nick also tried to pull my mother away, the only female at the table, to "have a word." we ended up leaving because of this extremely poor customer service

this is one of the places that i frequently like to take out of town guests. there is a great view of the river and talmadge bridge. it is also beautiful to visit in the fall, spring, or summer when they have their 'garage doors' open so the entire bar area is open to the riverside. their food is just okay, but they usually have decent bartenders who can make the classics and their signaturedrinksfrom the cocktail menu.

top flight view bar/lounge. without a doubt the best restaurant is and has been "rocks on the river" -- and a good fit for pre/after dinnerdrinksand relaxation is "rocks on the roof". love the sunsets and the magnificent river views

love the outdoor seating... relaxed and fun. not boring at all unless you bring boring company ;-) the food is great but be careful to read the menu and ask questions about the dishes. remember that it's a luxury hotel and they do add many garnishes to the food! but it all comes together very nicely and is a chill atmosphere and gooddrinksand good food to go around! :-)

disgusting food - boring music. i had high hopes for this new, hip restaurant/bar in savannah. with the excellent location overlooking the water and nice interior build out, i was expecting good food and spirits for a girls night out. how disappointing. we ordered several of the tapas items and none were very edible. the artisan meat and cheese plate was shredded cold cuts with two olives and a piece of stale bread. the calamari was covered in like a "special sauce" and tons of garnish - gross. i was really pulling for the truffle fries - really how can you mess up truffle fries?? cold and covered - i mean covered in some sort of alfredo sauce. utterly disgusting.drinkswere weak and entertainment lacking. although the jazz singer had a great voice, this "norah jones" wanna be was putting everyone to sleep on a friday night. there were several large groups including a wedding party at the bar on the roof and everyone seemed bored. we left and ended up having pizza at sweet melissa's after spending $150 on crap at rocks on the roof - maybe good for a beer in the summer when they open the overhead garage doors but other than that i would pass. what was especially charming was the wrist band that you had to wear saying that you are 21 - so classy. especially to go into a lounge, attempt to have dinner and listen to elevator music - seriously!!!!
