brevard's best!! you have to visit!!. river rocks is the premiere dinning experience in brevard county!! the food and service are excellent!!river rocks offers that elegant dinning inside and a casual one at the dock side bar! after reading some of the reivews, it seems that many folks are confused on with what constitutes fine dinning. if you want quantity then go to a buffet, but if you want quality properly portioned entrees andgreatservice then come visit river rocks. i think you will enjoy the experience!!

went for dinner last night and was happy about 1 thing the view. i had the mblt and the m got lost under the oversized bread it was served on and my fries were cold and wimpy as were the other 2 people i was with. but like i said the view wasgreatnext time drinks and view will work out much better and by the way what's the 3% service fee they just tack onto your bill ???! was that for the view???

again another wonderful experience!greatview, lots of choices, always consistent. good relaxed atmosphere unlike the crowded noisy place just to the south!

amazing views to go with the fresh ingredients. real veggies too! gourmet quality. not your typical " bar food" that is the same everywhere you go. this restaurant is unique and dies not compromise on quality! there is a reason the parking lot is full every day!

very good food ( a couple bumps), excellent service and nice view!. we went here after a long hiatus just because we live farther away. we had been here about a year ago for the 10am to 2pm sunday buffet and it was very good. today, we had sunday afternoon lunch. our server emily was excellent, 5 stars! emily kept our drinks full, was very friendly and efficient, and addressed all our requests quickly. we had the lobster dip, fried oysters fair (shells and sweet tomatoes pizzeria are better), and fried trawler. crab cakes were fresh and tasty, shrimp crunchy and fresh, grouper fish white and mild. oysters were a bit soggy. the clams were a bit soggy due to them being frozen and breaded. tartar and cocktail sauces are homemade, fresh and tasty. our coffee was hot (emily made a fresh pot for us) and the key lime pie was very good. my diet coke wasgreatsyrup and carbonation perfect, not all restaurants get this right. our table had a beautiful view of the river. the restaurant is nice inside and upscale. recommended.

regular guest. we dine here once or twice a month. service is always great. food is usuallygreatalso. tonight the music was so loud and annoying that it totally ruined the $50.00 experience. i like sax and guitar jazz but c'mon guys, you are supposed to be pro's and know how to balance your volume. we could not even have a conversation over dinner. jerry z, you should know better and rr mgmt you should control what goes on in your dinning areas.
of course we'll be back because we love you rr but we will pass if jerry z is on the bill that night.

not too bad. 52.00 for fish tacos and bruscetta with 6 beers. we knew the place was alittle pricy but we like the relaxed vibe there on the river. much more laid back than grills riverside (sudo biker bar). overall the sevice there has always been decent, not over the top but about what you would expect from a place like this. the same as all the other river front bars along rt#1. i would however suggest to mgmt that the staff needs to dress up alttle. our waiter was dressed sloppily and tried to hard to be socialble. we did not go there to socialize with the wait staff. smile at me, take my order, answer my questions and bring me the stuff i want and i will give you $$$, that's all i want from you. not your life story.
the food quality here is inconsistent. i have hadgreatmeals then ordered the same thing 3 weeks later and could not eat it. we go there enough to know. it's better during the week than on the weekends. most places are.

thanksgiving buffet @ river rocks. i have been here a few times and have always had agreatdining experience.....
but my favorite is the all you can eat buffet they have on thanksgiving which is worth every bit!
the food, atmosphere and service was excellent as always but i hope the times and schedule work out better than last year. i plan on going this year if they are doing it again!

excellent food. we ate out at the bar outside and had somegreatfood, but the lobster chowder was one of the best things i've ever eaten anywhere.

river rocks started agreatwine tasting on wed starting at 4 pm. you get 4greatwines (3oz) matched with a tapas for each wine. for $20 it's an awesome price for a night out with friends. thanks kyle for your delicious tapas.

superb restaurant!!!!. river rocks offers a fine dinning experience!! the menu is awesome and no other restaurant in town can beat the location!! sunday brunch is the best in melbourne!! having spent over 20 years in the military and traveling the world, i consider myself agreatjudge of fine dinning!! come visit river rocks, you will not be disappointed

sub-par service and its a shame.... we've taken out-of-town guests to brunch at rr three times in the past four months and, while the food and view is impressive, the service is always bad. its almost comically bad.

its so frustrating because this place has it all when it comes to sunday brunch... a panoramic water view, delicious fare, fresh seafood andgreatdesserts (the buffet food could be replenished more quickly, but overall thats not the problem.) having to ask for silverware, salt and pepper, coasters, place mats and to have plates cleared off the table tarnishes an experience that would be otherwise exemplary! one time, half our drinks were served in glass while the other were served in plastic. there is no rhyme or reason. the restaurant just doesn't seem to flow properly.

i hope they can improve on this since, really, there aren't many places in melbourne with this much potential.

phenomenal. i attended a business dinner there and can tell you that the restaurant is not only beautiful but the food is phenomenal, they have a vast wine selection and the views are superb, all around agreatexperience..i liked it so much i took my hubby there (he loved it too)...

what a nice evening we had - after dinner enjoyed a nice glass of wine on the deck while listening to good music, and the breeze off the river.

just love this restaurant. i have been to this location many times even before river rocks. when they first changed owners from chowders i was disappointed but the last year, i have nothing else to say but praises.
love the inside food, as there are two different menus - outside dock menu is casual basket type of foods but i like real food with vegetables and creative side dishes and here i have found it. each time i go, i always have the selection of cheeses as an appetizer then followed by agreatmeal - may i suggest seared diver scallops, the filet, mahi - your choice - never had anything that disappointed me.greatwine selection and wonderful atmosphere and service!!! we love dining here and do it several times a month. worth the extra $$$ to us as we are never let down and always have agreattime!
will come back again and again!

great find off the beaten path!. i travel a lot so instead of frequenting the restaurants right around the hotels i stay at, i always ask the locals where to go forgreatfood! i received several recommendations. my husband and i chose river rocks due to it's location being on the water. though it was a little bit of a drive from cocoa beach, this gem off the beaten path was well worth it!! at first i was a little disappointed in not getting a window table; however, due to the expansive windows in the dining room just about every table has a water view! this made our booth a more intimate dining experience without sacrificing a water view. the staff was professional and very knowledgable about both the wine list and the menu. our server made recommendations for both and we were absolutely pleased! i had the sea scallops and my husband had the pork loin. both entree's were prepaired to perfection! we ended the evening with a coconut creme brulee which i can't say enough about!

i highly recommend this restaurant. i hear they havegreatentertainment on the weekends and only wish my stay in the area was longer!

wonderful sunday afternoon at river rocks!. my husband and i took our grandchildren out for lunch last sunday to river rocks. greg and i both ordered the fish tacos as highly recommended by our waitress. they were blackened and absolutely delicious and went perfectly with the key lime sauce. we loved them so much we even got another order to go! the back deck overlooking the river is agreatway to spend a sunday afternoon. the staff was very friendly and accomodating (they went out of their way to satisfy my two picky eating grandchildren which is not an easy feat)! overall, we couldn't have expected more and cannot wait to enjoy our 35th anniversary dinner next week at river rocks!
